TF: Universe Hot Shot and Dinobot were only recently confirmed in Q&A, but already the first photos have leaked. As well, the rumored Transformers Mickey Mouse is shown in all his Disneyfied Optimus Prime glory. Cybergundam’s blog has added several new images of each character in all 3 modes.
In 2009, Hasbro is celebrating Transformers’ 25th anniversary by paying homage to not just G1, but nearly all of Transformers’ past.
It looks like Transformers is finally redeeming the Armada Hot Shot character with this Universe update. Yes, Hot Shot’s shoulders will finally not hurt and his life will no longer be pain. His minicon, Jolt, will also be getting a little update there.
As well, legendary Beast Wars character Dinobot finally gets a more realistic raptor alt-mode, but whether his weapon will have spinny fun and his head will have an alternate mutant head is not yet known.
And finally, Disney’s rumored Mickey Mouse Transformer exclusive is a reality. The figure pays homage to Optimus Prime, done in a Disney-stylized manner with Mickey Mouse’s as Prime. The Disneyfied robot and alt modes look spot-on.
