Vote for your choice in the 2013 Transformers Hall of Fame

hasbro-brand-tf TFV has been invited by Hasbro for the 4th year in a row to participate in this year’s Transformers Hall of Fame. This year, the fans determine both Hall of Fame inductee characters. We’re polling our readers to find out which Transformers character should be included in the fourth TF Hall of Fame alongside Hasbro’s past choices . Click here to cast your vote!

As with last year, we’ll be submitting a top 5 list that we’d like to see included in Hasbro’s upcoming Transformers Hall of Fame, that list will be mixed with the other participating fan sites’ lists and final judging will be made from those selections.

Past winners include Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream, Beast Wars’ Dinobot, Ironhide, Ratchet,  Soundwave, Waspinator, Grimlock, Jazz, Shockwave, and Wheeljack, so your vote will determine who gets to be in some illustrious Transformers company!

San Diego Comic-Con Interview with Hasbro

Last week at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Hasbro was gracious enough to give us here at TFviews.com an official interview with the Transformers brand management team shortly after what could arguably be called their best panel presentation ever – thanks largely to a angrily-passionate crowd, a responsive panel, and technical difficulties with the slideshow (you wouldn’t think that’d be a recipe for success, but it was more fun and more informative than any this reporter has ever seen before). TFv got to sit down with Aaron Archer and Jerry Jivoin (alliteration at Comic-Con is a must!) and ask them the following questions culled from our readers.

Hasbro’s time was limited, so we jumped right into the questions…

Transformers Hall of Fame Final Round Voting Open

Beast Wars Megatron, Wheeljack, Arcee, Rodimus, and Sky-Byte, that’s the official verdict from the fan sites’ polls, including our own (maybe that’s what pushed Wheeljack over the top! Then again, BW Megs and Sky-Byte came very close to our top 5, so maybe this is just the destined list); and now it’s your turn to turn 5 nominees into 1 winner. Voting is easy, vote once a day on Transformers.com for the character you think is most deserving (yes, you get one vote EVERY DAY) and the winner of the fan’s choice for Hall of Fame entry will be announced at Botcon in Texas, April 28th.

Vote at Hasbro’s official Transformers website now! (And again tomorrow.)

Then go discuss it in our forums thread dedicated to the Hall of Fame voting.

To the G.I. Joe and Transformers fan communities and Fun Publications customers,

Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention and for giving Hasbro the opportunity to respond to a matter that impacts its G.I. Joe and Transformers brands.  Please know we take all consumer concerns very seriously and are in regular contact with Fun Publications (our licensee) about the possibility of a breach in security to their online purchasing system for the G.I. Joe and Transformers Collectors’ Clubs.  Fun Publications is also taking this matter very seriously and is diligently working at identifying any problems, the number of customers affected and ways to ensure it does not happen to any more customers. Hasbro wants consumers to have a positive experience at all touch points for its brands, including transactions with its licensees.  As such, we are confident that Fun Publications has detailed instructions and pertinent information available for those consumers who believe they may have been targeted by credit theft via their portals.
