Thousands of TRANSFORMERS fans from around the world will celebrate the iconic brand from Hasbro, Inc.  in Dallas as the TRANSFORMERS fan convention known as “BOTCON” serves up a Texas-sized helping of AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS from April 27-29. Hasbro and the TRANSFORMERS Collectors’ Club, will be offering opportunities to engage in and learn about the TRANSFORMERS brand that can only be experienced at BOTCON.

Transformers Hall of Fame 2012 voting is now closed on the official site, so now we wait for Botcon to learn who won.

Beast Wars Megatron, Wheeljack, Arcee, Rodimus, and Sky-Byte, that’s the official verdict from the fan sites’ polls, including our own (maybe that’s what pushed Wheeljack over the top! Then again, BW Megs and Sky-Byte came very close to our top 5, so maybe this is just the destined list); and now it’s your turn to turn 5 nominees into 1 winner. Voting is easy, vote once a day on Transformers.com for the character you think is most deserving (yes, you get one vote EVERY DAY) and the winner of the fan’s choice for Hall of Fame entry will be announced at Botcon in Texas, April 28th.

Vote at Hasbro’s official Transformers website now! (And again tomorrow.)

Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention and for giving Hasbro the opportunity to respond to a matter that impacts its G.I. Joe and Transformers brands.  Please know we take all consumer concerns very seriously and are in regular contact with Fun Publications (our licensee) about the possibility of a breach in security to their online purchasing system for the G.I. Joe and Transformers Collectors’ Clubs.  Fun Publications is also taking this matter very seriously and is diligently working at identifying any problems, the number of customers affected and ways to ensure it does not happen to any more customers. Hasbro wants consumers to have a positive experience at all touch points for its brands, including transactions with its licensees.  As such, we are confident that Fun Publications has detailed instructions and pertinent information available for those consumers who believe they may have been targeted by credit theft via their portals.

Well, the results are in for our part of the official Hall of Fame voting, and we’ve sent this list off to Hasbro. Because the requirements were for an ordered list of our top 5 choices, the tie for 4th and 5th place was worked out by a tiebreaker vote.

5. Mirage (tied)

Now, Hasbro will take our site’s results, combine them with the other fan sites’ results, from that create a master top 5 and let us fans vote on it on the official Transformers website some time later this month.  We’ll keep you up to date on when that happens.
