Hasbro has updated the Official Transformers website with a bit of news that the Toys R Us exclusive, Masterpiece Grimlock, will be available on shelves July 1st. Please note, however, that this contradicts earlier reports that MP Grimlock will first be available at the TRU San Diego Comic-Con booth before it starts hitting shelves.
Update: Hasbro has changed their news article which now calls MP Grimlock a “New Exclusive”, and no longer refers to the figure as a Toys R Us exclusive. They have also removed the release date of July 1st from the article.
