Or something. Discuss!
Actually, I just wanted to post about this:

The CGI is about on par with BW, actually. Or that cruddy Theft of the Golden Disk movie that sucked.

Holy crap Thunderclash! If only he...looked a little more interesting.
Gah, am I the only one who's left feeling totally "meh" by this year's exclusives? Not only are they only vaguely interesting decos, but every single toy they're using has been redecoed at least once before. Hell, the Red Alert mold's been used three times now. Really, it feels like they put off the toys until the last minute, then had to run with a half-formed concept.

Yeah, I'm unimpressed by the toys themselves too. Happy they're paying homage to the Euro exclusives, but still.
Now here's hoping for Clench.

On par with BW CGI? Looks more like a slight update to Cybertron's CGI to me.Onslaught Six wrote:The CGI is about on par with BW, actually. Or that cruddy Theft of the Golden Disk movie that sucked.
Anyway, I also like he homages they've got with these figures, but wish they were more impressive looking.

lol coloured memories.

Those Cybertron molds don't really work for animation, do they? Even with all the extra movement compared to the Cybertron cartoon, the guy still looks stiff and lifeless to me.

It's the textures that make this crappy. They're all horribly plain and painfully reflective.
Just like a lot of BW.

It just looks nothing like the CGI in BW to me. The CGI in BW looked so much better than this IMO.Onslaught Six wrote:Just like a lot of BW.

I thought 'Theft' was okay. The sound effects and voice work by everyone who wasn't David Kaye pretty much sucked, but the animation was alright, and the story was an entertaining little short. At least more worth my time than 'Dawn of Futures Past'.
