Most Incredible Game of Clue Ever Played

Post by Mako Crab »

What started out as a normal game of Clue: Master Detective at my girlfriend's college grad party last Sunday got far more interesting, when she made an accusation to win the game.

She went into shock as she looked at the cards in the confidential case file. Literally frozen for a couple seconds before dropping the cards to the table. And then the happy tears started flowing like mad.

I used Clue to propose to my girlfriend!

Well played, congrats! Very well thought out.

Was the most difficult part playing out the game so that she could get to make an accusation? Sometimes that takes FOREVER with my group, that's why we don't play Clue anymore. ;)

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

I can't wait to hear about the wedding following from a proposal like that.

Let me guess: D&D 3.5e? "Roll 2d4 to determine layers of wedding cake"

Or some kind of murder. Either way, it promises to be a heck of a night.

LOL Thanks, everyone!!

We do have some plans for the wedding already!! Not D & D. . . but Doctor WHOOOO!!!

Colors are gonna be blue and silver.
I'm (and maybe some of the wedding party) am planning on walking down the aisle to the tune of "I Am the Doctor"

We've even got some plans to arrive in the TARDIS. It'd be easy really. Just have to build a door and 2 walls of the iconic police box, play some sound effects and roll some dry ice fog along the ground and voila! It's going to be an indoor wedding in a church, so we can hide the entire wedding party behind the little door frame. At the right angle, it'll look like this huge wedding party is coming out of a little police box.

Planning! Planning!!!

And of course, both our mom's are already harping on how we need to have a traditional, formal wedding and jettison all that goofy, geeky stuff. They've already been shut down. Goofy and geeky is what we're all about. It must happen. :D
