Voyager class Drift and Slog **potential spoilers**

Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.

Voyager class Drift and Slog **potential spoilers**

Post by Sparky Prime »

TFW2005 has posted official images of a Voyager class Drift and Dinobot Slog.
Spoiler
Drift, as has been rumored for a while, is getting a helicopter form. I have to say I find it a bit odd that rather than being a new mold, the toy itself is pretty much just a repaint of DOTM Skyhammer, the only new thing being Drift's head.

Man, I really dig Slog's dino mode. Maybe its the kind of Dino-Riders look it has going on, but he might be my favorite Dinobot in the movie line.

As for the other thing in there, that...also really appeals to me for some reason. I like the original mold, and that's a neat color scheme.

I like that mold, but I still haven't gotten into that samurai mask.
Spoiler
Also, I think the reason he's a copter here is because this represents his Decepticon mode
- not sure how Spoilery this really is, but for the movie it's a spoiler.

Slog (really??) looks interesting but still nothing like a robot, just a scaly guy who turns into... um... a bunch of plates welded together to look a bit like a war-dinosaur?

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

Boy, you said it. If a tank fucked a wrecking crane this would be their bastard love child. Ugh.

Also: Slog? Really? I Slog a derogatory term in some country now too?

Now there's your mental image!

I just think it's pretty dumb of a name here, it's not derogatory, it's just meh - how many replacements for "Slag" do we need? It makes no sense in this context. "Slug" was stretching it too far, but this is just the worst. Did they really run out of S words that might fit the theme?
