The 2014 NYC Toyfair is bound to be dominated by Generations

The 2014 NYC Toyfair is bound to be dominated by Generations 30th TF toy reveals. Also probably Constructbots,Kreo & Rescue bots. I think 30th will be the main focus/star & steal the show.

Based off previous Movie verse years that had a newer movie coming out in June. I don't think there will be any TF4 movie line reveals shown in the Hasbro NYC Toyfair. At best Hasbro might reveal some pre-TF4 toys that they plan to release in April/May 2014.

I think Botcon 2014,Will be the venue Hasbro selects to show off the first wave or Two of TF4 toys comming out in June 2014. I think by this time,Most on-line fans would have already seen aout 75% of these TF4 wave 1 & 2 toys thanks to leaked images,stolen proto types & factory/store employees getting stuff early i& breaking street release dates.

I am not expecting to see any Hasbro USA TF store exclusives info/pics to get released at the 2014 NYC Hasbro toyfair. As this never happens. most store exclusives Hasbro reveals at Botcon,SDCC,NYCC & Other countries events.

The previous years that had a new movie coming out, Hasbro has always had something to reveal at Toy Fair. I can't imagine that they wouldn't have anything new to reveal for the movie line. Especially when they already revealed the TF4 Leader Class Optimus at NYCC last October. I can see them holding back on the movie reveals for obvious reasons, but not that much....

thread update:Copied & pasted from Seibertron.com. Day 1 of London Toy Fair 2014 ended moments ago and we are here with the Transformers news.

Hasbro's Transformers is the main sponsor of UK Toy Fair this time but this newsie is sure that's not the reason why the company won Best Toy Fair Toy awards under several categories. Of course as usual, things were all hush-hush when it comes to Transformers. Only the privileged few were able to take a look at this year's Transformers product line. No matter, no matter… there is always the New York Toy Fair.

However, licensed manufacturers were able to show everyone what they have to offer. If you want to know the list, you can read our rundown posted not too long ago.

According to reports we received, HTI Group was there with their Transformers: Age of Extinction Optimus Prime Challenge Track Set. You can check out more info here.

As we stated before, Winning Moves were seen with Transformers 4 board games.

MV Sports were seen with a TF4 Optimus Prime scooter. Reports say that it is more than meets the eye.

Also, a bit of a surprise. I'm sure you may remember we brought you a news post stating that Nikko has acquired license to manufacture R/C Cars based on Transformers: Age of Extinction. It is said that they were there at the Peterkin UK booth. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee R/C vehicles were seen and the best part is… with a push of a button, they transform into robot modes.

I know some of you guys will cry… but if only those characters (in the picture attached to this news post after the jump) would move out of the way.

Update: Day 2 of the UK toy fair has come to a close. Someone from the TFW2005 Site who lives in the UK. Claims to have got in. but thr guy refuses to give any info regarding what he saw. He claims he had to sign a paper that forbids from sharing info to others. Ofcause since this is the UK toyfair,No pics are allowed to be taken.

Personally,I call total BS on this. The guy who got in didn't share any new info. most of the stuff he said,we all already knew for weeks/months.

At any rate day 2 of the UK toyfair was another bust. Which is sad since Hasbro claims to be a major sponsor & it suspose to get a huge TF show off rooms. Rumors have it,there are tons of TF4,Generations & other TF 2014 products reveals but only those with high clearance permission can get in but they need to sign a paper to keep quiet about what they see.

I guess nobody is really overly interested with the Canada toyfair. I seem to remember it goes on at a similar time to the UK toyfair. hopefully its next week. hopefully the canada toy fair is next week or two & it shows something or reveals info we haven't seen yet. at any rate i'll set my expectations for this super low. Clearly the NYC Toyfair in Three weeks will be the big reveals.

Day Three of the UK Toyfair is This Thursday. All I really wanted to know was if Generations 30th Leader sized Megatron & Jetfire were all new molds or repaints/releases/platinum toys. If They were new molds,I was curious to know alternate universe they came from & what bodies designs they got.

I can't say that I'm all that surprised, some events like this can be pretty strict about the release of information to the public.

I knew the UK Hasbro Toyfair was going to be a total bust. I was a bit optimistic,that we'd at least get a bone thrown since Hasbro was a major sponsor & had huge promo advertising displays, but it was worse than last year.

There was no HastAK TF4 nor 30th 2014 TF toys info/pics released at the 2014 UK Toyfair.

The only stuff revealed came from other companies who paid HasTak Liscense fees to release novelty tiny items that the Average Fan would never buy. Just Because other companies novelty items show faces & details,DOES NOT MEAN THE HASTAK TOYS WILL HAVE SIMILAR DESIGNS. For all we know they could be using outdated first draft CGI images,CGI movie images the HasTak toys won't use. These other companies might have taken some artistic liberties with there merchandise.

The first two waves of the Age of Extinction toyline will feature most of the movie's cast of Transformers. Which is a nice change considering Dark of the Moon's toyline was canceled before all of the characters from that film saw their release.

The guy who claimed to get in,didn't give any TF4 nor 30th 2014 toy descriptions or products info. The guy gave outdated info most knew about for months or most were guessing about. This guys info can't be trusted,so don't believe any of it.

Its really not hard to lie & say the TF4 toys will have all new sculpts & feature the movie cast. Because two waves that consist of different sizes have over 20 toys in them. Also DOTM is Three years old,So it's easier to lie & get believed when the guy claims the first 2 TF4 toy waves are all new molds.

FWIW,Takara is releasing some repainted previous movie toys in there early toy waves of TF4's toy line. Hasbro is bound to use some of those toys for TF4 as well.

Just because no pictures have been allowed of the toys doesn't mean it's a total bust or that there isn't any new information coming out of it. And while the toys will certainly look somewhat different from the CGI models, at least pictures of some of that other merchandise is giving us the first look at some of the characters from the film. That's better than nothing.

People were allowed in the show room. But they had to sign a non-disclosure agreement. He was upfront about that before he attended. I mean, the first thing he said about the booth itself was that it was like Fort Knox. They've done the same thing with such events before, it's not unheard of. He can't give out too much information because he'd get in trouble for it. Maybe take the information with a grain of salt but there's no reason to believe he lied about it. And it wasn't outdated information. Some of the names given are the first confirmation we've had.

Maybe, maybe not. You can't count on Hasbro doing something just because Takara did it. They've often released some figures (and toylines) that Hasbro didn't.

Where did you see that at? The only poster that was there I've seen commenting about anything said it wasn't on display. So of course fans are still guessing about it, nothing was able to be confirmed about that one.
