January 6th.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Manga Vol. 1- Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes...
I have not been playing these games.
Should I be?
Anyway. Got paid today and promptly spent a fuckton of it:
-Movie Masters Joker. I guess this is the one they were scalping? I saw pics earlier and decided it looked kickass and wanted one, and now I have it.
-Fullmetal Alchemist manga volume 3. I haven't even read the second one, barreling through Trigun right now.
-Classics Galvatron. He's alright.
-Black Sabbath's Paranoid album in bio-degradable packaging! That's what the sticker said. It was seven bucks, and my burned Sabbath CD is scratched, so hey. Also the cover is horrible.
-A Reese's cookie. These apparently exist. Chewy Cookie with peanut butter bits and chocolate on the bottom. Awesome.
-A lot of fast food. Murr!

Depends. If you're a fan of point-and-click adventure games who doesn't mind the odd moment of melodrama or absurdity (you cross-examine a parrot in the first game) from a brilliantly constructed story that takes itself just seriously enough, then yes, you should definitely check the series out. It's easily my favorite game series in recent memory.

Oh, god dammit. There were GBA entries in the series, right? I can just go pirate those? <.< I lost my DS and I spend too much money as it is.

Well, the first three games did start out on the GBA...in Japan. I don't know if there're translated ROMs of those versions (if there are they'd probably be obstinant and use the Japanese names). Only the DS versions of the games were released over here. How the heck did you manage to lose your DS, anyway?

Funny story. Got it for Christmas from the mother, totally unprovoked. So I start bringing it to college with me, in my pocket. And one day it's raining like all hell and I decide it's a great idea to run to class. So I do it. And I get there. And Oh Shit Where Is My DS. Gone. Damnit.
I may look into these, anyway.

Hooray, CDs! It's actually sale season here, so there's loads of toy sales on, but 'nothing' I want. Seriously. Nothing. Repaints and moulds I'd rather get the Japanese releases of. Thassit. Bah. So CDs it eeeess.
- New copy of The Downward Spiral, by NIN. This is one of my favourite albums ever. No, it probably is my favourite album ever. My old copy disappeared somewhere, so this'll do noicely.
- Pop Will Eat Itself: The Looks Or The Lifestyle. Rediscovered PWEI recently, rather glad I did, they're good fun.
- Sneaker Pimps: Splinter. Cranking Becoming X on the MP3 player at the mo', and Bloodsport in the CD player, so figured I'd nab a third album, they're generally winning.
- Rocket From The Crypt: RFTC. I'd never heard of these guys before, but the album was cheap and the cover looked cool. They're alright thus far.
- Live: Secret Samadhi. The other Really Good Live album, along with Throwing Copper. Brings back the memories, this does. I love Live.
- :Wumpscut:: Bunker Gate Seven. Hooray, I finally own a :Wumpscut: album! They're one of those kickass industrial groups I like that you haven't heard of. Totally the surprise find of the day, and cheap to boot, well stoked with this.
I shall return on payday to purchase an awesome shirt. It has a sad face and says "Tomorrow will be much worse". Eeexcellent. Heh.

*flailflail-SPAZZ* xD Eeee!
Starath now has a TFA Blitzwing!

I am so happy. Although, there is a story to this.... Yesterday I finally gave in and ordered Blitz off of Hasbro's site. Fifteen minutes later, a friend called and said she found one at Wal*Mart and would buy it for me. Although torn, I told her to go ahead and get him. Then I tried to cancel the order online, but it was too late; apparently he'd already been sent to shipping. So.... a second Blitz is coming within a week or so.
The moral to this story? Always be PATIENT. >_>
Other hauls:
--TFA Sentinel Prime
--Beast Wars Source book (with foreword written by Ben Yee! =D )
-- TFU Jazz
-- TFU Hound
Now all I gotta do is wait for TFA Swindle to come out, and I'll have all the TFs on my current want list. n_n

Over half of it is written by Yee, actually. Did you actually pay money for this crappy thing? >.>

Actually, I paid one half money for it, and for the other half I paid with oyster crackers.
I'm not ecstatic over the book, but it's fascinating to look through. My knowledge base on BW II and BW Neo is sketchy at best so it's really interesting to look at all the other characters that were involved in the other BW series'. *shrug* It's a useful resource even if some of the drawings suck. =\
