I picked up three of the Robot Heroes sets that I thought I'd missed out on. Target had them a month ago, and they came and went pretty fast. My local Wal-Mart had some new stock tonight, so I picked up three of the five new sets.

G1: Ironhide and Kickback
Beast Wars: Silverbolt, Megatron, Rhinox and Waspinator

Oh, God, Prowl, really? James, our resident guy who likes crappy screwy stuff, forced an episode of this crud upon us at club last semester and I nearly punched him in the face.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

You really thought it was that bad? Granted, I haven't seen the anime, but it reviewed well, and the manga's been one of my favorite new releases as of late. I would think my AV would be an indication of my appreciation of the series. But hey, to each his own.

It wasn't just me--nearly everyone in the room except Glasses Kid pretty much was ready to crucify James after the fact.

I love Glasses Kid, he's so oblivious. Like Scooter Kid.

Really? Hm, I'd heard nothing but good things about the series, which is why I took an interest in the series and started reading it. May I ask what, in particular, you loathed so much about it?

It's just, like I said, this has been one of my favorite series of the last few months, so your unabashed hatred has me curious.

It was really boring and screwy and bleah. Mind, it didn't interest most of us within the first five minutes--and James brought it, which kind of forced a stigma on it to begin with--so who knows.

Eh, all I can say is Give It Another Try, if you want. I don't know how you feel about horror anime, but it's definitely one of the best.

It was supposed to be horror? That makes sense, I guess, given how horrible it was.

TFA Blurr. Pretty sweet, even if he set me back $13.

Also, a "powerforce" Bissell vacuum, which sounds vaguely like something hasbro would make up
