I was mainly kinda turned off by the fact that the rest of the assortment seemed to be nothing but Spider-Men and Iron Men with I think the Green Goblin thrown in.
Mega Bloks, yeah. I'd love some more variety in the line other than "Movie-based guys"...the series two set seems to have Whilplash, which, okay, he's a legit Marvel villian, even if the movie version's quite a bit different than the comic version, but whatevs. But they've got, like, the drone things that Tony and Rhodey fight in Iron Man II. Who needs one of those that bad? Still, the Venom was a series one thing, so...still pretty much a Spider-Man. I dunno, they have their appeal, but I'd love to see 'em branch out and get some of the odder Marvel characters in there. Still, it's a neat enough thing that I could see picking up one or two when I stop in at a Wal-Mart.

In other fake Lego-related news, I wanted a project so I picked up Kreo Mirage. We'll see how that goes. Worst case scenario, I can just keep him in race car mode and have Venom driving him around.

A Masonic belt buckle. My parents got it for me. Apparently I'm on my way to a belt buckle collection.

I got paid the other day so of course I can't go too long without buying useless shit:

-Tony Hawk's Project 8, aka The Last Good Tony Hawk Game. At least from the way it looks to me. Totally open-world exploration, looks good to me. Apparently the Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater modes have been scaled down but I don't give a fuck about those; I just want to skate. It was only $10 so what the hell.
-Tron Legacy classic Lightcycle. It was $6. I figure it can sit nicely next to my BTTF part 2 DeLorean and (eventual) AT-AT as Cool Movie-Related Toys. Now I need an Ecto-1 and hugeass Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
-A Grapple for Prowl.
-GI Joe 25th...Mutt. Why Mutt? I dunno. Something about his mould. Also he's the ol' "I'm a computer!" dude, so I kind of needed him. And he was, like, three bucks.
-Comics! Animal Man #1 (because I heard it's good), Atomic Robo 6 #2, Mega Man #6, IDW TMNT #1 reprint. Woo.

Customizing, and a willingness to sacrifice an old project, yielded....:

-TFU style Crosswise:
I touched up and changed some of the colours on my custom Ricochet. I lost the original gun, so I replaced it with the gun from an "Energon" Starscream. All things considered, I am happier with it than I thought I would be. But, I should probably go back and touch up some of the point.

In other news, the reprolables are coming off of my G2 Jazz. Avoid that sticker set at all costs.

Dom
-still finding every excuse to avoid Kre-O Jazz and/or Zoom Zoom.

In what's likely the most expensive haul of the month: 2011 Toyota Corolla. Aw yeah. I went to trade in the old crappy Chrysler for a used Corolla, but it turns out that I got a better interest rate (0%) on the brand-new one. I'm....kind of out of my mind with happiness about this. It was so weird to get behind the wheel of my new car and have the odometer read "16".
