Takara EZ Collection DX Movie Devastator

Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.

COMBINING CONSTRUCTICONS.

I kid you not.

Legends-sized versions thereof, at least. All transforming AND combining. AND awesome, even at a smaller scale. Pictsies here: http://www.toywizard.net/transformers-m ... tator-set/

Thanks to Allspark and TFW for alerting me. It's desk-scaled pint-sized Awesome.

Probably, but seven Legends does not fit well with Hasbro's current case ratios, so I expect giftset. And I expect it further down the line. If Takara's comes out first, I'll shell out extra. Especially if there's chases.

Well they totally put Hasbro to shame with this one. I will definitely be getting myself one. These look like they will be the best toys to have within reach for a long time to come.

And now that we know that it *totally can* be done (like we didn't already) more's the pity we're not getting a larger version...

In fairness, there are some things that are easier to pull off at the "Legends" scale, if only becase people are more forgiving with smaller toys. For example, I rather like "Legends" Soundwave, but would not be as forgiving of that same problems in a larger toy.

Still, I agree that the full-sized Constructicons will likely be...lacking.

Oh, man, oh man. These are great.

And I love the fact that they'll be Legends. I dunno if it's a case of being more forgiving of flaws from the smaller scale as much as just loving tiny TFs, but I'm kinda more excited about the idea of these than I would be about full-sized versions of the Constructicons.

And Bigass Wheel Guy still looks great as a baby Bigass Wheel Guy. Yes, I know he has a proper name. I'll use it eventually.

The only thing that would've been perfectly excusable at this scale is the Constructicons NOT combining. There is no excuse for that damned giftset. I hope it shelfwarms horribly.
