Well, Mach Alert's vehicle mode is 'right there,' the same with X-Brawn. Speedbreaker's the only stretch, and I wasn't too happy with it until I remembered you can take off Rodimus's spoiler entirely. That helps give him the sleek altmode again, plus he's got the exposed engine that Speedbreaker had. Plus, it'd also retroactively give us Police Sunstreaker/Sideswipe, depending on how they do it. And they'd be RID homages! RID homages rule.That'd be shenanigans! The Car Brothers are their own thing, and their designs (we're talking about the regulars, not the supers, right?) are based on those realistic vehicles, which wouldn't really play with the molds you mentioned. Plus, Rodimus as Speedbreaker doesn't even make sense, they're way different-looking in both modes.

Hot Rod's a bit stockier than Speedbreaker thanks to his..not being a spindly shellformer, but I think it fits better than the other options of Mirage, Bumblebee, or Prowl into Speedbreaker. Plus, it'd be a great reverse nod, since Super Speedbreaker was in Rodimus colours.
