Roberts & Barber interview

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

I haven't read it yet but will post thoughts when I do.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Over all, not a bad interview. The comparison between the Red Rust and the Hate Plague seems to be a bit shallow. And, there is a possible spoiler about Starscream. But, RiD is still intriguing. And, it turns out that Trekkie was most right about MTMTE, with it being more or less a "man without a country" story.

I am! I want to see what happened to Grimlock.

What? The last we saw of him was in 2008, man. It's been four years! (Obviously we aren't counting a one-off bit in Wreckers.) Plus, the Dinobots are gonna have a hell of a time dealing with the death of Sludge.

Is there any word on what year it's supposed to be, come to think? (And I also have to say, I find it hard to believe that All Transformers Period have left Earth. There's gotta be a few left over causing a ruckus.)

Did you not read the rest of it? Grimlock spark-shocked him back to life and they rode off into the sunset to bro it up and wait for Grimlock to get out of prison.
