It's not that we're disliking Su's art in general, it's just that a lot of us think those weird camo patterns look...well, weird, and don't even make any sense. I can handle character models changing flippantly. I can almost sort of handle the terrible faces Don is doing now. But the weird camo doesn't even have a reason!

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Hm. I didn't notice the camo so much. There was the one Seeker that had a little of that going, but I just assumed that was Acid Storm. I'll flip through again looking for it, but either way I guess it didn't bother me as much.

one thing I forgot to mention. I really dig how they did Razorclaw in this issue. He doesn't do much, but that fits the character, sort of.

I did the same thing... didn't even think about shipments being delayed a day. And it's a 22 mile round trip over to the comic shop and back, so I drove it for nothing. Argh. And of course, I'll be going back over there today to actually get the new releases...

Scourge, man, I love you, but how the fuck do you miss shit like this?

Actually, I just noticed it's on the wall behind Prime, too! What the hell?

Speak not to me of pain. I live in MA. As much as there is to be proud of in this state, we breed useless Monday holidays like rats. (We are the ones responsible for Italian Vote-Getter, erm uh Columbus, Day as well as Drunken Asshole, erm IRA Appreciation, ...erm, St. Patrick's Day.) The older I get, the less I enjoy the long weekends and the more I resent the forced lack of productivity, especially when the really obnoxious state hacks still get paid. (Yeah, I am a state hack. But, I have to show up for my job.)

Monday holidays are like furries, there are no good ones.
Transformers #7: More incredible artwork. Were you guys saying you didn't care for E.J. as much? Man, I gotta disagree all the way, this stuff is great. Sadly, the story...eh. Too much setup, not enough story moving. I got a lot of little things happening, but nothing that really made me feel like this was a story in it's own right instead of just a long prologue.
The thing is that this issue, like most comics, is not supposed to be read alone so much as a chapter of a larger story. The comic industry is evolving to the point where they almost want you to wait for the trade. This screws comic shops. But, comic shops ain't where the growth is. Costa was not wasting time or effort though. He was showing the dynamics for post AHM.

While one of the camo sporting Decepticons was indeed Acid Storm, the other was Sunstorm.

I'm also a state hack, but in CA. I get July 5th off because the 4th is on a Sunday. Course, our chief exports are jobs and money so there ya go.

The art in 7 was great except for the camo.

That's not true at all, man, I just recently met a good furry. He writes spiffy industrial music and is generally a cool guy.

I don't have any pressing need to know if any of my friends are furries.

He's nobody you all know. AFAIK none of us are furries. (86 might be hiding something though.)
