Oh. I was always under the impression that Soundblaster was a different character completely.

In some iterations, Soundblaster and Twincast (blue Blaster) are different characters.

But, generally, Soundblaster/Soundwave are the same guy while Twincast/Blaster are the same guy.

Yeah, I don't think that terribly highly of the new bio, but it doesn't get me all worked up, either. The "Mini-cons" thing I can deal with, the "deleted is emotional programs" is just silly, and the rest definitely feels fanficky. But the bio artwork is far more bothersome than the bio. Pat Lee, guys? Really? Still?

So, Grimlock's bio when he's nominated next should be entertainingly horrible.

he's already nominated. TFW has it on their home page. Bio is a mesh of DW and IDW continuities and the artwork is still Pat Lee. I say meh.

I...what? Where does Scorponok come from? Is that some kind of inferrence from IDW?

I guess. Same deal with the whole "Gladiator" and whatever stuff. Still feels wanky, but I think they could have done better at doing worse.

Also, to nobody at all's surprise, Grimlock is totally getting my vote. I love Soundwave and all, but Soundwave is not a dinosaur.

I am going to wait and see what other characters make it.

Either way, Grimlock's entry was not bad at all. Soundwave's entry was something of a mess though.

Yeah, regardless of anyone's voting--Soundwave and Grimlock were pretty much locks to get in the voting. It's these other three that're going to be interesting.

Actually, given Scorponok's random mention, I wouldn't be surprised to see him thrown in. That's somebody we didn't really consider.

Third one. It's Jazz.

So now Jazz was Orion Pax's best friend? ...That doesn't make him Dion, does it? And what happened to, you know, Ironhide? And he's a ninja now, I guess. Jazz was supposed to be black ops but now he's a ninja, because of Animated.

Now I'm really interested in what one of these weird amalgamamama profiles would say for Jetfire.

I can see what Hasbro is trying to do with these profiles. But, some of these are really clumsily written.

I am going to assume that Jazz and Prime knew each other, but Jazz is not Dion. But, the fact that Jazz might be getting wanked into being Dion, (despite Dion being a new character now per the FanClub), that will be enough to make me vote for another character...including Soundwave.
