Re: 2025 Hauls!

AotP Quickstrike Really surprised this figure arrived today. When I pre-ordered it, they said it was expected for release in February. As a deluxe, he's a bit bigger than the original basic scale figure and seems a little more bulky. Because of the changes in transformation, the new figure feels mor...

Re: Retro Comics are Awesome

I have a Very Best of Spider-Man collection from 1994 which included Amazing Fantasy #15, ASM #33, ASM #50, ASM #248, ASM #271, ASM #317, ASM #365, and SSP #189. This is actually one of my favorite TPBs because it has such a variety of different stories over several decades. Some of these issues wer...

Re: Star Trek

The Kelvin timeline is dead. After numerous directors and writers have been attached to and gone over the past decade, Skydance/Paramount CEO David Ellison says they've " moved on " from the idea of doing a 4th film with the JJ Abrams Star Trek cast. Frankly, I think it's for the best to l...

Absolutely. City of Tears in-particular is one of my top favorite areas of any video game for how beautiful it is and how soothing the music.

Re: Star Trek

Yeah, I'm not sure what they're going for with this Starfleet Academy series based on this trailer. The way they present the students makes it feel more like Starfleet's school for misfit special kids. Star Trek isn't the X-Men. I love seeing Robert Picardo in it, but... Nothing else really grabbed ...

Re: Video Games are awesome

My oldest daughter really enjoyed the first Hollow Knight. I played it a bit and liked it, but never got very far. I got pretty close to the end of the game, but didn't quite finish it. I only had one more Dreamer I needed to break the seal of to unlock the final boss. I know where the Dreamer is, ...

Re: Video Games are awesome

I've been playing Hollow Knight: Silksong for the past couple of weeks and I've been having a lot of fun with it. I enjoyed the first Hollow Knight, but I think I'd have to say I'm liking this game a bit more. Hornet is a bit faster and more agile than the protagonist of the other game, which makes ...

Re: Star Trek

Starfleet Academy trailer from NYCC is online. They also have a first look of an episode from season 4 of Strange New Worlds And... I've already got issues with it. I'm guessing the distress call they get is actually their own, like Voyager's "Parallax" episode. Which isn't a bad idea, bu...

Re: Star Trek

I admit I apparently like Enemy Mine regardless of what franchise does it. I really liked this episode. The Enemy Mine style Star Trek episodes I'd agree are generally among the best. Like I said, I thought the bones of this episodes story was good. I'd say it was probably the best episode of this ...
