Two different entertainment websites are reporting that both a new animated Transformers movie and a live-action Transformers movie are in development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An untitled Transformers<\/em> film and The Trial of the Chicago 7<\/em> have been given release dates, The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> has learned. <\/p>

The latest installment in the sci-fi action film franchise, the untitled Transformers<\/em> movie will receive a wide release on June 24, 2022.<\/p>

Paramount currently has multiple Transformers<\/em> projects in the works: Joby Harold (Army of the Dead<\/em>) and James Vanderbilt (Zodiac<\/em>) have been tapped<\/a> to write separate scripts in the story universe, while the studio is also moving forward with an animated prequel<\/a> directed by Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4<\/em>), with a script co-written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari (the Ant-Man<\/em> franchise).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile Deadline<\/a> reports that one of the projects in development may be based off of Beast Wars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paramount<\/a> has given a date for a new live-action Transformers<\/a> <\/em>movie of June 24, 2022.<\/p>

The studio is in development on two different projects: one by Murder Mystery <\/em>scribe James Vanderbilt<\/a> and the other by John Wick Chapter 3 <\/em>EP and Army of the Dead <\/em>scribe Joby Harold<\/a>. The Vanderbilt project, from what we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve heard, is based on Transformers <\/em>spinoff Beast Wars <\/em>which are robots that transform into robotic animals like Cheetor (Cheetah), Optimus Primal (Gorilla), Rhinox (Rhinoceros) and more. The other is reportedly in the Bumblebee <\/em>universe. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not definite yet which one will make it to production.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
