another chance at Windcharger

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

another chance at Windcharger

Japanese import:

I am thinking or ordering this set for the recolour. (I really happen to like this mould.)

All things considered, I do not need 2 Windchargers. So, I would not be averse to selling the extra Windcharger (at cost) that I would end up with.

Holy shit, they made a Wipeout? That's kind of awesome.

Not really.

Base US retail is ~$10 each. That starts the set at ~$20. Imports are usually ~twice US retail. Now, factor in the high desirability of the set...and there you go.

I figured you would like that one. ;)

I hate to say it, but I'm kind of considering it. Windcharger still goes for 20-50 bucks on eBay anyway, so this way I get Windcharger with free Wipe-Out, basically. When's this come out? I'll have to see if I can spare the scratch when the time comes.

Still need a shot at Frenzy/Rumble one of these days...

This set is due out in January. Yeah, I am saving my pennies as well.

Rumble and Frenzy are back in stock at BBTS, for damn near $80, which is high even allowing for import fees. (Figure ~$20 for US retail, even tripled would only be $60.) I am not spending $80 for two (shared mould) scouts, Rumble and Frenzy be damned.

I'm surprised they didn't go with Tailgate or Rook.

They might be waiting on Tailgate. Hasbro might be planning something.

Just preordered the Windcharger/Wipeout pack on AmiAmi. They had 'em for 2630 yen, or about $35. That'll probably get bumped up into the forties once shipping gets added in, but whatever.
