I would say Minicons, Mutants, Wreckers, Maximals and Predacons are good serious options, just to get major factions and eras listed/represented. And, Andalites might make for a fun gag.

Okay:
Blendtrons are a Unicronian faction.
I can only think of 2 mercs, "Energon" Rapid Run and G1 Doubledealer.
Proposed list:
Autobot
Decepticon
Cybertronian
Maximal
Predacon
Mutant
Blendtron
Minicon
That covers all of the major eras aside from the modern, which thus far lacks any disctinctive faction.

Yeah, but there's only the same one twice, it doesn't count as 2.
Oh, and demands don't work too well on me, if you can't serve Megatron, you're no use to anyone, weakling! Mwa ha ha!
So, I've added a few more usergroups, major factions. And I chose some colors for each, and wrote up some group bios.
