IMHO,Thus far IDW Chaos is a bust, anyone else dissapointed

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

I had high hopes for Choas IDW TF G-1 On-going comics. I wanted to see
D-Void's origin get fleshed out. I wanted to see it star galvatron &
his growing army. thus far it's a bust,it's all about optimus &
megatron's origins & first meeting.

Thus far too many Issues are being wasted in the 4+millions years ago
past. exploring megatron's & optimus prime's origins/careers/first
meeting each other. If I wanted a origin story I would have bought
it.

I honestly wanted D-Void origins & persona's all fleshed out. who they
are? where they came from? what history do they have with the
transformers race?
where do they tie in with other villians? why is the D-Void hate the
TF race so much?

I really wanted Galvatron to take center stage & star in these Choas
issues. instead it looks like newer writters changed the story set up
& pushed galvatron to the side as a joke.

I really wanted to see galvatron,cyclonus,scourge & galvatron's
growing army get some decent 3-D persona's.

Hopefully the arcee & hardhead story arcs that happened in hearts of
darkness wasn't dropped/axed. I kinda wanted to see what made arcee &
hardhead so strong & why they didn't getting destroyed by the D-void.
why did arcee & hardhead have similar powers

Even making allowances for impatient fans, this thread is ridiculous. "Chaos" is maybe a quarter done.

As long as they keep Abnett's fat ass off of the book, I will be happy. Of course, I would be happier if Costa had stayed, but....

Dom
-notes that this should be in the G1 section.

There's expectedly a lot of dumbfuckery here, but this part really gets me. I mean, Chaos Theory is basically the first comic TF fandom has actually agreed about being good since, well, Last Stand of the Wreckers. And you're wanting to toss that out in favor of more time spent on IDW Galvatron?

FWIW,1/4 of the issues will now be direct to 3 issues that take place on the earth. with prowl, bumblebee, spike, ultra magnus & the other decepticons figuring out what/who killed on of the constructicons "in cold oil" as the description from IDW reads.

Let's face it guys, Transformers is ruined.

...That said, if there's new TF stories taking place on Earth, that's a thumbs-up from me.

Most of the ongoing has been set on Earth. Why have you not been reading it?

Think we've done this one. It's not in stores round here, and buying comic books on the internet is something I'd have to have a good long think about. Just seems really odd to me.
