Rumor,Dotm leader sized megatron & shockwve,would u buy them

Rumors are circulating on various TF message boards that they'll be 2
DOTM Leader sized toys called Megatron & Shockwave. do you want to see
these get made? will you buy them? would you rather the resources went
to TF prime/generations leader toys?

Personally I'd rather they "DON'T" get made into toys & i'm hoping the
rumors are false.

I'd rather the money/resources/man power get transferred over to the TF
Prime or Generations toy line 2 leader sized TF toys.

I'm just not a fan of giving the takara microchange TF Hasbro toys
radically different alt modes. Dare I say this DOTM Shockwave toys
designs are the worst radical shockwave toys updates/homages we've
received thus far. at the very least the energon shockblast toy tried
to create a 1985 looking animated shockwave robot mode. at the very
least the animated shockwave toy tried to give the toy a alt mode that
looked like a passble tank alt mode & tried to incorporate a few 1985
shockwave designs into the robot mode of animated shockwave.

DOTM Shockwave has ugly designs in toy & CGI movie form. I just don't
see how they can improve much on this with a DOTM Leader sized
shockwave toy.
It still won't look like 1985 shockwave.

At the very least I can imagine/picture them creating a decent looking
DOTM Leader sized Megatron toy at the leader size. but what's the
point when they've already created a beyond decent voyager dotm
megatron toy. getting a upsized version like sentinel got for DOTM
would be a waste of resources/money/man power & the fans/buyers time/
money.

I'd much rather prefer we got either non-movie characters toys thrown
in the DOTM toy line as 2 new mold leader sized toys like tripple
changer blitzwing,masterforce overlord or rotf leader sized Tidalwave.

I'd much rather the resources/time/money/man power went to TF Prime or
generations 2 leader sized new mold toys. like doing a TF Prime leader
sized megatron. doing a generations leader sized sixshot. doing a TF
Prime leader sized overlord or generations toy. doing a leader sized
Generations galvatron toy.

I'm not a huge fan of the DotM Megatron design (I liked his RotF look more), but I'd like to have a leader class Shockwave personally.

And I don't see that it would make a difference to the resources Hasbro uses if they make more DOTM leader class figures or not. TF:Prime will likely get several Leader Class figures of its own and Generations will continue having none in that size class.

It still won't look like 1985 shockwave.

If a hypothetical Leader DOTM Megatron looked more like he did in the movie, I'd be into one. I like the Voyager and all, but I could go for a larger version of this design.

Shockwave, though, I'm just not interested in. Just can't get into the movie Cybertronian alt-modes.

I just don't feel the need to go to the store & buy every single G-1 character/toy they give a updated homage new mold. I only buy the ones that look close to their G-1 robot/alt modes. I don't buy any radical updated G-1 homage new toys

I'm happy & satified with the Takara Ipod soundwave that came out a few years ago. at the very least the alt mode does look like the 1980's walkman radio. the takara Ipod soundwave robot modes does look similar to the 1984 soundwave robot mode. Yeah I know it's a shame the chest door doesn't open up on ipod soundwave & squeeze a tiny cassette/bot inside their. the transforming headphones was the ultimate lame-o. I bought ipod soundwave but didn't buy the weird transforming head phones

I'm most likely going to be buying the 3rd party MP Soundwave & MP Blaster toys.

It honestly makes no sense why shockwave hasn't received a toy that looks like his 1985 laser gun robot/gun mode. that's such a unrealiistic gun mode. it looks more unrealistic than the nerf guns.

You know that those aren't really 'updates' of the G1 guys at all, and are just new characters with the same names and some homage-y bits, right? No one would expect you to run out and buy a Movie Megatron just because you were a fan of G1 Megatron.

Anyway, a Leader Shockwave might be a'ight, but like others I'm really hoping that we do turn out to get a Leader Megatron. I wasn't crazy about the first two MovieMegs designs, but damned if they didn't finally pull it off here. Love the cape and hood, and the more earthy color scheme. Plus a hypothetical Leader version could have the movie model's chest-chains, and that sweet sawed-off shotgun. And you just know a full-size Leader-scale version of his Mad Mackx truck mode could be sweet. (Also, dare I dream...actual cloth for the hood?)

I... yeah. DotM Megatron has about as much to do with G1 Megatron as BW Razorclaw had to do with G1 Razorclaw. Come on, now.
