open letter to Ben Yee

I sent this along to Yee about 45 minutes ago.
JT deserves the credit for building these new forums. He is hosting them, and providing huge amounts of tech support. But, we would not even be a group (in any sense) if not for Yee.

Ben,
In many ways, your page was my introduction to being on a fan forum. Yeah, I started by lurking at ATT and others. But, the old BWTF (back on Easy Board) was where I first hung my digital hat. I joined in early '02, intending to leave the forums, and the hobby with the end of RiD. But, being able to talk toys and enjoy them in a group setting kept me in. This is a lonely hobby, and your boards did much to mitigate it.
Besides talking about toys, I made friends their. I know we have not always seen eye to eye over the years. (In fact, I dare say we have disagreed more often than not.) But, I want you to know how grateful I, and the others, have been over the years to have a place like bwtf. AU (now Misanthrop Prime) put it best. We had a good mixture of people at the board who could tackle the hobby from different angles, each helping others to enjoy it more.
I hope you stop by the new forums. (http://www.tfviews.com/forums) And, I hope you post. JT built the current forums. But, many of us know each-other through the old BWTF forums. Hell, I got involved with CA through people I met at BWTF. And, for all the disagreements on any forums, I am pretty sure I speak for most, if not all, of us when I say that.
Best,
Dom
