IDW TF G-1 on-going comics don't come out every 2 weeks.

issue #23 is comming out 3 weeks after issue #22 was released from the IDW TF G-1 On-going comics.

technically the IDW TF G-1 On-going comics MIGHT come out twice a month. if that particulat month has 5 weeks in it.

I realize their are 7 days in a week times 4 weeks & that equals 28 days. which leaves 0-3 days extra in each month depending on the month.

still that's only 3 days extra & that barely makes up half a week.

So i'm guessing IDW is already having problems living up to their promises of releasing 2 IDW TF G-1 ON-Going comics per month.
hopefully this situation won't get as bad as Dreamwave.

It's just that my local comic book store is 26 miles away one way & 52 miles away round trip. I planned to go once a month & pick up 2 issues of the IDW On-going. I went this wednesday july 3,2011 & was surprissed to only see issue #22 put aside for me by the comic book store. I asked where issue #23 was & he looked on the computer & said next week. I called another comic book store 5 miles away from this comic book store,the guy said issue #23 will arrive in 2 weeks.

I kinda pissed off because now i've gotta drive to the comic book store in 3 weeks to grab issues #23 & #24. ofcause I plan to call in advance. because it seems like their's gonna be delays for the idw tf g-1 on-going comics being released 2 issues per month.

My local comic shops are both about 13 miles from where I work, so I hop on the interstate during my lunch hour on Wednesdays. One thing both shops do, which your shop might, is post the week's new comics on their websites. I always try to take a look and see what's out for the week that I want before making the trip. You might look into that, or get a pull list so you don't have to drive all that way every week.

All this just because they're releasing issue 23 three weeks after issue 22 instead of two? IDW is still on schedule for releasing 2 issues per month with issue 23 scheduled to be released August 10th and issue 24 scheduled for August 24th. There's no sign they're having problems keeping to that schedule at all. You just can't expect an issue to be released every two weeks. Sometimes there will be 3 weeks between issue releases in order for them to maintain the bi-monthly schedule.

Yes,I get a pull list. The comic book stores puts my TF comics that I have on a list into a bag. then i pick up my comics once a month.

This week was a 5th week skip. It was, as far as I know (based on solicitations), planned.

So the one book being a week later oughtn't be that big a deal, then?

And, I was given to understand that it was a Diamond ordering error that cause the comic shops to not get them this week. Along with just about everything else.

Shockwave,Thanks for acknowledging their was a diamond shipping error.

I went to my comic book shop one month ago & bought issue #21 of the TF G-1 on-going. so one month later their should have been 2 TF G-1 on-going comics in my bag at the comic store on august 3,2011. Issue #22 that was part of july & issue #23 that should have been released on august 3,2011.

whether it was a diamond or IDW delay issue. the fact still remains their was a one week late delay.

since I don't know who was at fault for the one week late delay. I'll just take "Shockwave's" word & blame it on diamond. because i'm too lasy to spend a few minutes/hours researching the delay info on the internet.

Yeah, I'm equally lazy, but I also trust the word of the comic shop owner who was the one that told me that.

It was kinda a big deal because I plan my gasoline mileage around making the comic book store visit worth my gas fees. I try to go once a month & grab 2 TF comic issues. so getting one issue made my wasted gas prices seem more wasteful.

As I noted,my nearest comic book store is 26 miles away one way & 52 miles away round trip.
