selling off my collection

Buying and trading on the open robot market! Optimus Prime might call this slavery, but he's never had to track down Energon Ultra Magnus before.

selling off my collection

Post by Dominic »

I am in the process of purging a large chunk of my collection. Rather than type up and post a tedious list that will need constant revision, I am announcing the sell-off. This is *huge*. I am actually sorting through GI Joes and PVC figures. I am even getting rid of some Minicons.

If there is something you are looking for, let me know.

Do you have Legends Warpath and/or Cosmos? Or Alternators Wheeljack, Swerve or Hot Rod?

The Holy Ones:
-Polar Claw, needed for replacement shoulder joint (although I don't even know where my broken one is so I'd probably just use this one)
-Torca, because I broke the one 86 sent to me. God damn GPS.
-Tripredacus.

Now for some regular stuff. It's probably dumb to ask, but you got any extra Soundwave cassettes? I'll even take an extra Laserbeak if you've got one, as I've only got one and could do with a second to sticker up into Buzzsaw.

You buy any extraneous Movie/ROTF guys you're willing to get rid of? I've no interest in Animated.

This is hard, man, since I don't even know what you have. That's the kind of guy I am with a lot of these things--you say "I have stuff I'm willing to get rid of!" and I go "Well, shit, I forgot I wanted that."

Things I'm not interested in include GI Joe at this point (I dunno, it just seems like I completed the thing--I have more Cobra Trooper variants than I know what to do with, and the new line is just 'more rehashing of the same guys') Animated and Alternators (Never was interested in either, really) so keep that in mind, I guess?

I'll assume that for standard figures you'll be willing to take retail for anything complete and C8+ish, yeah?

Retail is a good bench mark for much of what I am selling.

Anderson, I might have Cosmost and Warpath.

I have no Alternators.

I have many movie figures. Night Attack Prime sound good?

If you do, I'd be happy to buy them. Let me know.

Anything extraneous from movie/ROTF multipacks that you're willing to get rid of, that could be cool.

I've wanted Cybertron Snarl for a while; missed the boat on him, kept waiting for a repaint that never was.

It really helps if you have specific toys you are looking for.

I avoided Snarl like the plague.

Just post what you want to get rid of, it'd be a lot easier. As it is, I don't even know what I'm looking for because I don't know what you've got.

It's like, you know when you go to the store looking for Figure A but they don't have it, but you really feel like buying a toy today so you get a much lesser Toy B, perhaps that you weren't even interested in, just to buy something? I've done that, plenty. And knowing that you want to get rid of these guys makes it all the more enticing. Some guy I wasn't looking for in 2008 but you want to get rid of, I might suddenly be interested in, simply because it's cheap and available.
