Action Master Thundercracker: Make It Happen!

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

Action Master Thundercracker: Make It Happen!

Post by G.B. Blackrock »

I've recently been changing my signature on various TF-related message boards to reflect an eye-searing image of a certain Seeker in his Action Master color-scheme. The recent news that FP tried (but failed) to get Action Master Thundercracker done for BotCon 2010, coupled with the news that they chose to do G2 Ramjet as 2011 club exclusive instead of AMTC has gotten a number of fans involved in a campaign to get someone (FP, BBTS, Hasbro, Tomy, we don't really care) to make this toy. To that end, club member Crazy Jetty has created the image of the shade-bearing AMTC that we are making available to anyone who wants to join in the campaign. You can find a few variations on this image at Picasa. Feel free to adapt these as you wish (if you are able to give Crazy Jetty credit and/or post a link to his deviantART page, we certainly appreciate it) and post wherever you want! Raise your voices!

You can see more information at my blog. I'm also encouraging fans on Twitter to retweet this link and/or use the hashtag #AMThundercracker.

Make it happen!

Nifty! I just like the image of AM 'Cracker with shades on and MAKE IT HAPPEN written by him. Out of context, it's just an awesome image. X]

Soyeah, I'll join in once I've drawn my own version, develop the memetic image, all that jazz. =3
COME TO TFVIEWS oh you already did

Of course, the problem is that Hasbro might decide to make this instead of a good Thundercracker figure.

On a related note, the Fan Club is apparnetly advising people who want G2 Sideswipe to write into Hasbro about it.

Honestly, I see no danger of Hasbro doing this color version of Thundercracker for mass retail. Ever. They'll certainly do a "regular" Thundercracker (like they're currently doing Dirge and Thrust) before even considering it. If this happens, it'll almost certainly be a limited exclusive.

G2 Sideswipe, on the other hand, I can totally see being done at retail. By all means, send those letters!

(and if you happen to add a desire for AMTC as a footnote to such a letter, I'll not complain) ;)

I dunno, we almost got this with Acid Storm who they released before Thundercracker (which is my entire resentment towards Acid Storm). So AMTC is something I wouldn't put past the 'Bro. If nothing else, we might be able to get him as next year's Botcon exclusive.

I simply disagree. Acid Storm is an obscure character, yes, but a very "standard" color scheme. AMTC is such a bizarre color scheme that I just can't see Hasbro touching it (for mass retail) with a 100-foot pole.

Could you imagine a "ghost" version in those colors? That would be fantastic!

I can see them pulling something like making it a store exclusive, and then using that as an excuse to avoid making a regular Thundercracker figure.

Dom
-would be fine with some kind of Club exclusive figure of AMTC though.

And then only releasing a limited quantity of the exclusive. So we're talking about real likelyhood then? My bad, I thought we were wishing. Actual likelyhood, I suspect it'll happen as a Botcon/TCC exclusive. FP has already expressed that they wanna do it.
