What’s Coming Up Next in the ROTF Main Line

I threw together a list of the next waves for the ROTF line with pics and a breakdown of who is new and who is a repaint. I didn't include Legends or RPMs or anything ancillary like that (I know some of you will take offense at that, but none was intended).

This is based off of EE's info, so I linked to their pre-sells in case anybody wants to forgo the hunt (and like a damned fool, I didn't even include affiliate links so I ain't gettin' paid).

I'd have included Legends, myself, just because they feel more like legit TF toys than, say, Gravity-Bots do, but I could also see the case for not messin' with 'em, either. Especially since this line isn't like, say, the recent Universe stuff, where the Legends contained several new characters, not just smaller versions of the main line. I'm not offended, I guess is what I'm tryin' to say.
Anyhow, this is a nice kinda list to have, so thanks for puttin' it together, JT. You're good people.
Crap, there's actually a bunch of stuff coming up that I want. Stupid ROTF line, makin' it hard for me to ignore you. Anyway, what's up with Brawn? I want to like the guy because Brawn, but he looks like everything that's lost my interest in the ROTF line, big kibble-splosion kinda mess. The hell?
I do, of course, wish for Lockdown, and his smaller brother Brake. Those look like awesome toys, right there.

Dude, Scourge, Mindwipe and Bludgeon are awesome. Not only are they new Mindwipe and Bludgeon toys, but they don't appear to suck!
As for Brawn, he doesn't look horribly kibble-tastic and actually looks really awesome. I can't wait for him.

Glad you're not offended.

I would have included Legends as well but it's a slightly difficult line to keep track of IMO because of the lesser distribution and the numerous shuffling of molds and paint schemes. Basically, if I had been more familiar with them, I would have. Also, EE only has the next 2 waves listed, and 1 of them has hit LA pretty hard so I don't like to write about product that is all over the shelves. I think the only new Legends in wave 6 will be Arcee and Jolt. Gah, fine.

Sure thing!

Yeah, same here, lots of stuff. Brawn was near the top and has slipped heavily after seeing more images.

It is killing me how cool they look and I haven't found Bludgeon yet even though he's out.

I thought so too before this morning, then I saw a review which changed my mind....
Peaugh did video reviews of some of these, including Brawn. As his vid reviews are among the least intolerable, I will hit ya with their knowledge

Wow, that 'is' some more back kibble than I initially believed--but not enough to break the deal, I don't think. I'll watch Ratchet's later, he's the figure I'm waffling the most on.

Hey, handy reference guide there. Thanks! Looks like there are a few figures of interest to me coming up.

Maybe I'll have to see 'em in person to decide, but...I don't have anything in particular against either toy, but I don't really think I want 'em, either. I might go for Bludgeon, because Bludgeon, but it's still just a "might".

Just buy Gears now, you'll never know the difference.

Brawn's closer to winning me over despite being a kibble monster just because he's Brawn, but also because a Deluxe I'm iffy on is easier to justify than a Voyager I'm not sure of.
Just to close on a positive note, man, Skystalker and Scattorshot look really cool.

Gears is a Stockade repaint, though, and I already have Stockade, and Gears has cruddy colours. He could've been *so* much better.

Skystalker combines with Mindwipe. Yes. That's awesome.

Couldn't not hit the ol' "Brawn-Gears" joke the one more time. You know how it is.
I don't know, I am kinda impressed by how Gears has a totally non-G1 colorscheme as a truck, but as a robot he really does look like the old Gears. Sorta. If you squint. Any high regard towards the guy may be from how much I liked the old toy, though. I was an easily amused kid, I guess.

Hey, it's not that I dislike Gears, or that I think Stockade Painted Like Gears is an inherently bad idea--I just think the execution is 'bad.'
