Wal-Mart Skywarp and Ramjet observed in Kansas

Post by 138 Scourge »

Yep. Saw a gang of these guys, the local all-night Wal-Mart is not fuckin' around with 'em. If I remember right, though, they wanted twenty-six bucks for 'em, which seems high to me.

So yeah, I guess..Mirage, look for 'em your way soon.

I found them at mine here in Sacramento too. Which is nothing short of amazing after the scalping nightmare that was US Masterscream. When I saw them at Botcon, I pretty much wrote them off as never gonna see them.

Both of my local Wal-Marts in Greenville SC have large amounts of these two as well.

Funny thing, out of the three or four Wal-Marts in my area I've been in lately (I get around) there's only been one of 'em that has these guys. But man, do they ever have a lot of 'em.

Oh, I've observed them quite a bit. Funny thing is, while I was actually a big fan of that mold when it came out, I've since cooled on it. The new voyager Screamer may be less solid, but he's a lot more dynamic, and yes, movie-accurate. After picking up the 07 Starscream and the Deep Space repaint, I gave Thundercracker a pass, and now I'm hard pressed to care too much about these two new guys.

Unless Wal-Mart blows em out-- which could easily happen, given the huge numbers and the concurrent apathy I've seen. I'm a sucker for cheap toys. :D
I disappear.

The new Screamer sucks, but now that we've all seen those grey proto pics of LeaderScream...hooo boy.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Still a few of these in my local area. Not too impressed with them.
