So earlier today I was enjoying my second viewing of The Dark Knight, and noticed something not so much odd as flabbergasting.
I look down to the front row and this couple is sitting there WITH A STROLLER!!!!
Later on I saw that yes, they had indeed brought an INFANT CHILD into the movie.
"Hey, honey, let's bring our 1-2 year old baby to a movie about a psychotic killer clown. And hey, later on someone gets horribly disfigured and also gets a taste for murder! Oh, and it has 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound. You know, the kind where you can feel your lung tissue vibrate whenever something blows up, hot damn!"

Through either a miracle or heavily drugged milk, the child only wimpered once or twice, but dear lord, people....
Just when I thought my mind was all boggled out.....

Well...at least they thought to bring the kid along. There are alot of people with kids these days who just don't seem to care that they have them, so they leave them unnatended, or throw them off on relatives.

What if some junkie robbed them leaving the theater and shot them both to death, leaving the child an orphan suffering from the traumatic memories of being helpless before the murder of his or her parents, huh? What then??

I don't get how people wonder whether that comic was ironic or not. That environmental-conscience bit just swung it 100% for me.

And the 'humorous' nicknames the staff give themselves.

That can't be worse than the 11 year old couple spooning in the seat behind me when I went to see Quarantine today. I was there with my "just friend" and even she wondered if the do-ragged rugrat was a better kisser than I.

I would have made out with my just-friend to let her find out.

Because I'm smooth like that.

And also I'm desperate and will try anything.
