BW,BWNEO,TFP,Energon,Walmart store repaints in TF4 toy line

Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.

It appears all the major big USA Retail stores will be getting TF4 Store exclusives repaints. Walmart will be getting older TF toy molds from BW,BM,BWNEO,TFP,Energon & from previous TF Movies lines toys repainted as TF4 Dinobots & TF4 Robots.

I really love the BW,BWNEO,Energon & TFP molds recolored into TF4 Newer dinobots toy colors. I thought this was brillant.

I agree, the repaints look cool, I just wish they came separately and I didn't have to wind up with movieverse toys to own them.

Most of them are Cyberverse. Hell, if I wasn't interested in more than a few of these, I'd say you could probably just hand the Cyberverse off to me. Do you have any nephews? Cousins? Good for that. Besides, the tiny dudes won't cost that much extra!

For some reason I am LOVING the gold/black Cruellock. I've always loved that mould and these are some slick colours to put it in. The purple Guiledart is a maybe--I love the mould as well but the colours are a bit too Universe 1.0 for me. (Shame, since I need a Cyberverse Mirage--maybe you want to split it, Shock?) The blue Terrorsaur is neat too, but that one's kind of dependent on price. Seems weird that they'd back in two Basics and a Deluxe like that--are these all the same price points?

I might be down for a split, sure. It'll really depend on if I even find these at retail to begin with. My main two problems with that are 1: I never go to Wal Mart and 2: Even when I do, they never have anything anyway, especially when it comes to their exclusives. Otherwise, yeah, I'd be cool to unload the cyberverse guys to you.

They may have my interest with some of these. I'm a big fan of the Neo designs, and I've never gotten a Guiledart or any of the reprints. Maybe I'll go for this. The colors are kind of Universe 1, but I'm okay with that. And blue Terrorsaur looks really neat. As for the Cruellock, don't know. Man, it's odd that they're just sort of taking any vaguely T-Rex looking mold and saying "This is a Grimlock."

It is just all around kind of cool that some old-ass molds are getting rereleases, though. Who saw this kind of thing coming?

Indeed and some of the colors are better. Maybe not Guiledart, but hey. That Cruellock kinda looks Power Rangery.

I'm just amazed that it's this year of all years, we get a Cruellock repaint. Given that his altmode is Godzilla '98.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that caught this. Part of me wants to think Hasbro did it on purpose, while another doesn't want to give them that much credit.
