So,no bigger Takara MP TF toy this year,that's a shame. I was hoping for a leader sized MP TF Galvatron toy modeled after the 1986 G-1 cartoon/movie designs with a futeristic laser canon alt mode. or at the very least others like MF Overlord,victorysabre,leader sized gun megatron,etc...

I was optimistic like last year 2012,MP soundwave & Lambor. That Takara in 2013 would be offering one smaller MP TF & one bigger MP TF. SADLY THE CHANCES OF THIS HAPPENING IN 2013 SEEMS LESS DIM/LIKELY AS THE MONTHS IN 2013 PROGRESS. AFTER-ALL I IMAGINE TAKARA WOULD HAVE ADVERTISED THE THING WITH SILOUTE PICS & ON-LINE IMPORT SITES TEASES/LISTINGS.

On-line Rumors are circulating that various over-seas stores/sites delayed the release of the three MP Prowl/smokescreen/silverstreak toys. My guesses are various over-seas stores/sites had a hard time trying to justify paying so much for such a tiny toy. over seas stores/sites probably figured their customer bases wouldn't buy these toys in decent demand. ----> SO AT THE VERY LEAST THIS IS GOOD NEWS FOR THOSE TF FANS THAT PREFER THE MUCH BIGGER ULTA/LEADER SIZED MP TF TOYS,AS THIS WILL CAUSE TAKARA TO CONSIDER CANCELLING THE SMALLER DELUXE/BARELY VOYAGER SIZE MP TF TOYS IN FAVOR OF THE MP TF LEADER SIZED TOYS THAT ARE IN MORE DEMAND & SELL BETTER.

I seem to recall various over-seas stores/sites complaining about Takara MP TF Lambor being so small for the price point. complaints were the customers base would efuse to pay the price for such a tiny toy in decent worthwhile demand. SO I'M HOPING THE FAILUREV OF MP LAMBOR & THE MP PROWLS OVERSEAS STORES/SITE CAUSE TAKARA TO STOP MAKING THIS TINY GARBAGE & FOCUS ON MAKING THE BIGGER MP TF TOYS.

IMO,MAKING tiny deluxe/barely voyager sized MP TF toys makes no sense,THIS IS WHAT THE REGULAR MASS RELEASED TF TOY LINES ARE FOR. FWIW,THE MORE COMPACT/TINY YOU GO,THE MORE THE TOY SUCKS,AS IT'S LESS COMPACT,LESS PARTS,LESS ROOM FOR THE PARTS TO MOVE,CHEAPER THIN PLASTIC BY DEFAULT.

WITH so many bigger sized TF characters/toys out their still with decent high ranking command positions. I prefer takara focuses on getting all the big guys out of the way like MP MF OVERLORD,SIXSHOT,SHOCKWAVE,victorysabre,deathsauras,smaller scale MP Megatron,G-1 Galvatron,Ultra size G-1 Cyclonus,G-1 MP TF Scourge, MP TF Ultra size Astrotrain,MP TF ultra size blitzwing.

GOD FORBID Takara gives us MP TF combiners,because this is what the majority wants.

HONESTLY with the way Takara/Hasbro is running things these days,I trully expect to see things get worse & not better. I expect to see the following MP TF toys in the soon to be distant future: 1- MP Bumblebee that gets repainted into cliffjumper.
2- MP TF Jazz & stepper. 3- MP TF Mirage & a repaint Dragstrip. 4- Might as well do a MP TF wheelie with a push button activated voice box that rymes like the G-1 version or curses & complains like the movie version.

CLEARLY THESE MUCH SMALLER SCALE MP TF deluxe/barely voyager sized toys is Takara's failed attempt at selling the Alternity toys re-imagined in the MP TF toy line. HOPEFULLY HASBRO DOESN'T SELL THESE DELUXE/BARELY VOYAGER SIZED MP TF toys. because without Hasbro global distribution of any TF products,Takara cancels/abandons the idea,due to Takara having 75% less global distributors than Hasbro. Takara clearly makes less profit than Hasbro does on newer TF toys due to the 75% global distributors.

Anyway, I'm kind of amazed to think that MP Soundwave already came out in Japan last year, this one's blowing by.

I guess it's possible they'll announce a quickie Soundblaster repaint of the MP Sounds mold later this year. Any excuse to hawk more tapes with it, I would assume.

At first I wasn't happy about MP Soundwave,then after a while I warmed up to the idea. Due to me calculating this will be the ultimate toy version to represent the 1980's character/toy.

I honestly hate all the vehicle soundwave toys due to them being radical updates. If hasbro were to do a tripple changer soundwave toy with a robot mode,a radio mode & a vehicle mode like a tank or jet or spy truck mode,I'd be okay with this.
