Did stores in USA cancel last waves Generations 2012 toys?

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

Did stores in USA cancel last waves Generations 2012 toys?

Did stores in USA cancel last waves Generations 2012 toys?

I live on the far,far east coast of america in NYC. I never ever saw any last waves 2012 Generations deluxes nor Generations voyager Soundwaves/soundblasters in stores within a 50 miles range at any of my TRU's,Targets,Walmarts,Kmarts,Kohl's,etc...

It appears in 2013,Most of my stores have skipped the soundwave/soundblaster assortment wave & skipped to the Grimlock/blaster assotment voyager wave instead. I had to get sounwave on-line.

My guess is most of my stores will skip the last wave or 2 that had the newest generations 2012 deluxes in it like Sideswipe,Ultra Magnus,Kickback, that shockwave repaint/retool character toy. I was only interested in Kickback.

Sadly as most know TFP 2012 Voyager Skyquake didn't hit that many USA stores. Mostly it was a on-line exclusive that BBTS got & other on-line sites were able to get.

I fully expect the All the USA discount stores to get all these toys I mentioned above in decent stock. Discount stores i'm referring to is Marshalls,TJMaxx,Ollies,Ross,etc...

The stores in your part of the US may not have gotten those in, but I'm pretty sure that I saw every toy you mentioned while I was trying to track down Grimlock. Well, everything but the Skyquake. I haven't seen any of those, but I haven't really been looking at the Prime toys too closely.

Yeah, I remember seeing pretty much all of those figures when I was at Toys R Us just a week or two ago myself. They weren't skipped.

The Soundwave/Soundblaster wave came out here (CA), I've seen plenty of Soundwaves on shelves, and even a Soundblaster or two. As for the the third wave of Dleuxes, I've seen a Sideswipe on the shelves, so they apparently did make it out...they're just likely getting the shit scalped out of them in my area. But hey, Shockwave and the Combaticons were eventually findable, so I'll just be patient.

I've seen exactly one Grimlock in my area. Never saw Skyquake, but that's fine since I already have Dreadwing who, frankly, looks way cooler anyway.

Just this last Tuesday I was at Target and saw Grimlock and the Soundwaves (both of them). I only glanced at the Prime guys long enough to determine that there were no Shockwaves or Terrorcons.

First quarter everything ships slowly. Wave 1 is still rolling out in small numbers while wave 2 is starting to hit now. You're suggesting it's canceled when in fact it's barely gotten started.

USA Retail stores are still ordering & restocking on some late 2012 TFP/Generations toys BUT APPARENTLY THEIR NOT EVEN BOTHERING TO ORDER THE TFP VOYAGER CASE THAT HAS SKYQUAKE IN IT.

Last week when I went to my local Target store,I noticed 2012 Generations Soundwave toys on the shelves for the very first time. I also keep seeing stores restock on the TFP Voyagers with Dreadwing,Thundertron, ultra magnus & optimus in the case. I also still see the FOC Deluxe combiners & the last wave 2012 TFP Deluxes.

My solid guess TFP Voyager Skyquake is destined to wind up being sold at those USA Discount chain stores like TJMaxx,Marshalls,Ross, Ollies,etc...

I was kinda hoping TFP Voyager Skyquake would get a zombie battle damaged repaint as either a mass released toy. Or as a store exclusive verse gift set with maybe the kids & a autobot toy.
