Show of hands,Who's buying "year of snake"Omega Supreme toy?

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

Show of hands,Who's buying "year of snake"Omega Supreme toy?
http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Supr ... formers-20

No,not me,Because in 2004 in the Energon toy line, the Supreme sized toy only cost $49.99. 7 Years later,I don't think the re-tooled molds merits the double price tag of $99.99. While I think the re-tooled newer arm, newer head & colors look great,I don't think their that great to make me fork over $99.99 for the toy. HAD THIS TOY COST $49.99 WITH FREE SHIPPING FROM AMAZON.COM I WOUL HAVE BOUGT IT.

I had the toy & gave it away a few years ago to a younger relative. I never liked the thick plastic vehicles as they reminded me of play school tonka huge heavy plastic construction toys. The huge robot mode looked like a brick-former despite have decent poseable limbs. I think the brick-former look comes from the torso taking up so much plastic on the toy,it basically a huge rectangular box with no waist sculpt & no abdomen sculpt.

I made a comment joke years ago all over the TF forums internet that the energon Supreme sized Omega Supreme reminded me of that 1980's Centurions cartoon episode, where the 2 main evil villians "Doc Terror & Hacker" combined their cyborg parts to create a new super villian.

If I had $100, I totally would. Maybe if I sell more GI Joes and old TFs.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

I just feel my $100 could be better spent on something else TF.

I like the new claw arm they gave it, and the colors are much better than the original Energon version of the figure. The new head kinda seems a bit tiny but I like the look of it. Over all I'd say it's a nice looking figure and an improvement over the original Energon Omega Supreme but can't say I'm looking to buy one. And $100 is a lot for any Transformer.
