topic I started on the Allspark about the return of this board:
So it's a set of forums organized like the Allspark, for people who are mostly on the Allspark now, but without any of that intimidating "activity" and "posting" and such? Well I'm sold. I guess all news feeds would have to link here, and then to TF2005. = D
I guess I'm biased - I left BWTF's forums sometime between the point at which they lost all moderation and became overrun by angry thirteen-year-olds and the point at which the site, God bless it, actually went under. But as a nonexistent community that maintained its major links beyond its physical dissolution, the idea of dedicating yet another unrelated set of forums to its perpetuation seems incredibly redundant.
Edit - Ah, I missed the self-satisfied, partisan descriptions of the forums that want to be in the humor of the TF Wiki, but fail to be objectively and universally scathing. That certainly justifies the existence of the board.
However this was posted about a month ago. I did not ask for email updates and thus only noticed this post until today. Anyway gang, thoughts on this scathing review of both the new and old BWTF boards?

Um, nerrrrd fiiight? The internet is pathetic.
EDIT: The poster in question is likely Kal, BigMD's top buttlicker from back in the day, who once commented that my username was "stupid". I'm probably one of those "angry thirteen year olds" who drove him from the old board, despite the fact I would've been in college at the time. We may safely ignore him.

Indeed, it is quite ignorable. I was just shocked that someone even put the time in to hate us. We're what, all of 15 people? You could aim at a larger demographic if you wanna hate someone.

Meh. I don't recognize his name, and I don't recall any major uprising or anything, nor the board ever fully "going under" or anything of the sort--so who knows. G does, I guess, since he knows the guy apparently.
I don't understand the "vaguely organized like the Allspark" thing, though. It's...a Transformers forum. How the hell else are we going to organize it?
