Makes sense to me. What's the point in buying the 15th version of Bumblebee? Though I hope Optimus Prime and Peter Cullen are still present.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing a whole new cast of characters but Optimus should still be calling the shots as Autobot leader.

I'll believe it when I see it.

So far Peter cullen will be returning to do optimus primes voice. another older high ranking army actor is returning to reprise his human role. my guess is more will return. So TF4 will most likely not have a all new cast of human actors & voice overs actors.

I'm dreading the inevitable return of shia la beof in TF4. I know he's comming back & I won't be shocked when he returns.

You mean Glenn Morshower? I'd be surprised it that'll be a very big role, considering this roles in the first 3 films were fairly small.

I really wouldn't count on Shia LaBeouf returning here. The writer of the script, Ehren Kruger, has already confirmed that Sam Witwicky will not be in it, and LaBeouf himself has been adamant the 3rd was his last.

Point is he's still returning,So this probably means more actors & voice over actors will returning. some like myself were hoping for entirely new cast of robots & actors.

I was hoping TF4 would take place in the future,like 25 to 50 years in the future. I kinda wanted to see the following Transformers robots in TF4. Hotrod,who powers up into rodimus prime when optimus dies. Ultra Magnus,Springer. Dinobots,Metroplex,Kup,Computron.Skylynx Galvatron,Cyclonus,Scourge,Predaking,Trypticon,Abonimus,Blitzwing,Astrotrain,horrorcons apeface & snapdragon.

He's a very minor character. That's not the type of character that would indicate anything for the main cast. And they are still talking about going with a whole new cast (with the exception of Optimus and maybe Bumblebee) for the main cast of characters as it is.

I couldn't think of much that would put me off seeing TF4 more than the revelation that it features Unicron, Galvatron and Rodimus. Et flippin' al.

I wanted to see a different/newer core cast of G-1 characters in the TF4 Movie. Because I'm sick & tired of seeing the same core cast of G-1 characters re-used in the movie-verse,TFA & TFP.

But wouldn't genuinely new characters be more interesting?

Knowing the movie aesthetic, they'd barely resemble the originals anyway.
