What should I do about Hasbro's boo-boo?

I picked up Legion Evac tonight, and it's got 2 rusty metal pins - one is a hidden shoulder hinge, but the other is the right front wheel axle pin which not only shows, but also adds friction to the wheel so it only turns on a mousepad or something. Of course the first Legion figure I actually like turns out to be the first defective Legion figure I've gotten, and with a plating error that is ultra rare in the line no less. Anyway, Evac might be a hard-to-find figure in my area, he has a bit of the scalper-bait about him since he's a cool new mold. I could try to get Hasbro to replace him, their SW team works very hard to replace exact products, but TF may not work as hard and then they could send me any TF toy in the same pricepoint. I could return him to Target, but I might not see another one. I could wait until another store gets one and then return this one but that could take more than the 90 days I have. Or I could just live with it since it's not a terribly huge deal.
So, thoughts?

Step 1) Move this thread to the Prime(?) forums.
Step 2) Either return it, or trade it to somebody who will not care. (Returning is more likely.) Do not deal with Hasbro, as they will probably screw it up.

-rust, on a new toy? Damn.

Yeah, I'd say exchange it. I'd probably just live with it, but I'm really lazy.

It's not a Prime figure (the packaging has no "Prime" on it), and the movie line isn't currently running, so it seems like it has to be Generations since that line IS still running.

Ok.

Turns out it's a manufacturing issue, I saw 3 more today and 2 of them had it as well on the same location.

I was about to decide to live with it and then I found one today without rust, so exchange it'll be.
