Newbury Comics (Boston area chain):
They will not outright rip somebody off in the sense of taking money and not delivering goods. However, they are *very* lax about filling orders, including for regular customers.
If you are specifically looking to buy a given book, do not trust them to come through with it unless they have it in-store.
