Those flaws are all precisely why I don't like him. The design's nifty, but even then he's still a big Grimlock toy and I got all my Grimlock fulfillment out of ClaGrims.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

First book in Brian Azzarello's run. Constantine goes out to rural America. He has some past with two of the local GOBs and gets involved in some crap.
There's really nothing paranormal in the whole story, aside from Constantine using the occasional bit of mesmerization.
I can dig putting Constantine in more "real world" situations, but this just comes off as dull.

Also, I think it should be universally agreed that ALL hilbillies in comics be written by Garth Ennis.

Stopped by the fruit stand and picked up some more Mangos today:

Hayate the Combat Butler Vol. 8- Fook Mi, that was a fast release coming off of volume 7! Not that I'm complaining, this series is already up to Vol. 14 in Japan. Pick up the pace, Viz!

Black Lagoon Vol. 1- Can't believe I missed the anime of this, shoulda grabbed it while I had a chance. Supposedly the first season's getting a re-release by its new liscensor (Funimation?), so hopefully I can grab it when that sees the light of day. In the meantime, I've got the manga. Whoot!

Animated Jazz. Haven't opened him yet, but the rest of his wave has been rad, so I'm expecting good things. You hear me, Jazz? You better be awesome! (Shakes fist)

Also, extra-special haul of awesome arrived in the mail: G1 Grimlock! Sort of. It's actually the Pretender Grimlock, sans shell. So, I guess, the K-Mart Grimlock. Anyway, he rocks. His robot mode is an interesting design reinterpretation of the original, and his dino mode is just so lil', goofy and cute what with his bared teeth and all. Besides, he's a fun addition to my growing Grimlock army. Maybe I'll try to get pics tomorrow...

As I've got seven Grimlocks now, it clearly takes more for me to get Grimlock fulfillment than O6..

Went to Target today, picked up Universe Acid Storm. I usually don't go for repaints, but I'm a sucker for jets. I'm not disappointed, cuz his black Decepticon brands are made of awesome.

Plus, my current alter-ego is a green jet with camo patterns. Acid Storm and I will get along fine.

Still on the hunt for AniBlizwing, though. He'll be mine one of these days. The stores around here have finally realized it's time to move on the Animated toys.
"Listen, mister alternate dimension! I am ZE real Starscream; the Mighty! I mean THE!"

".... Noooo, I still don't beleef it. I mean, vere ist your chin?"

Was in town before work shopping for my dad's birthday lat night, stopped by Best Buy as well.

IGPX Season 1 Complete Collection- Finally broke down and picked this up; this last copy has been languishing at Best Buy for a while now. Now I've just gotta pray that I run across Season 2 someday...

Bangai-O Spirits (DS)- Another one I've been waffling on, again, finally broke down. Crazy little game, clearly cut from the same cloth as Gunstar Heroes (rightfully so, it's made by the same guys). 160 levels, should keep me occupied for a while.

New Order - Substance 1987 2CD set. Hooray for singles collections! Especially dirt cheap brand new copies thereof.

And a guitar tuner. Finally.
