So are you ranting about ranting now?

Also, I'm way going to see G.I. Joe. In the regular theater, not even the Drive-In. Well, likely the Drive-In, too, but y'know. Doesn't look goofier than most episodes of the cartoon, and looks more coherent than ROTF, and has Eccleston in it. I don't ask for much from a movie, I guess.

Useless and about to go out of production? Heyoooo!

When I met my last long-term girlfriend, I didn't have a job, prospects, or much of anything but scars from "donating" plasma and a somewhat-effective line of bullshit. Apparently. Actually, I have no earthly idea how that wound up happening. But still!
The chick I'm hanging out with is totally aware that I have exactly zero money, and what money I do get, I irresponsibly spend on toys and comic books. Sucker!

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Ok, back to hauls. Went to Target after work. Got ROTF Long Haul, Grindor (I missed out on Blackout), Jolt and Dead End (I know, I just broke my movie character rule). Long Haul is awesome, Grindor is ok, a little tough to figure out, doesn't seem like the copter blades do anything besides hang there awkwardly. Jolt is ok, I wish the arms were better and didn't bump up against the things on his back. Didn't transform Dead End, but it's really a nice deco, so much that I couldn't pass it up.

Be careful with Grindor's chest/copter-front. The gears in there mis-align real easily.

Useless and about to go out of production? Heyoooo!
Are you kidding? We are stuck with the F-22 for at least another 10 years. Way too much pork money in it now. (And, if it turns out that O6 is right, well hot-damn. But, do not plan on it.)

Haven't had any problems with the gears, but one of the tabs that holds his righ arm in place already has stress marks and is twisting a little. Also, finally transformed Dead End. It rocks, there's even a different head so he's not 100% repaint, there's a partial remold there too.

ROTF Mixmaster. Still in the process of transforming him. Also, I'm hideously irritated by the packaging on most ROTF toys so far. At some point I'm going to post a pick of Long Haul's box after I got frustrated and just ripped it to peices.

Transformers Energon vol. 1- Sweet, now IDW's releasing the Energon comics! This is great because...I love the Energon cartoon, which has little in common with the Energon comic? And it's written by Furman in full-on Universe Ending Mode, with art by Guido Guidi? What the hell was I thinking?
