Botcon 2010 is Generation 2

The originals... ok, not exactly, but the original named "The TransFormers" anyway. Take THAT, Diaclone!
Generation 1, Generation 2 - Removable fists? Check. Unlicensed vehicle modes? Check. Kickass tape deck robot with transforming cassette minions? DOUBLE CHECK!!!

I wasn't interested to begin with in him, but if I were going to end up with it (which it doesn't look like I am! Sweet!) I'd be disappointed in how similar he looks to Bluestreak.

The color scheme is pretty accurate to the unreleased G2 Streetwise. Not much they can do about it. Hasbro shouldn't have released Bluestreak with the black hood.

Yeah, they should have made him look like this to begin with:

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I definitely can see what O6 and Shocktrek are saying. A black repaint is tough to get excited over, especially when said repaint is not wholly dissimilar to an existing toy.

Clench does not look....too horrid.

Okay, now, the question is do I want to go buy a Skyjack and Hardhead (or Silverbolgt and Onslaght) and recolor them in G2 colors, or wait and see?

Dom
-notes this puts the Onslaught mould in play, and the mould could make Motormaster.......

Sorry, that is all. Life is complete now for the unrepentant G2 fanboy. :D
I disappear.

Mirage, Rapido might be the in-show give away. I am not trying to ruin your day or nothing. But, start saving money for an eBay adventure *now* if you want to get that thing. Aside from '07, the in-show exclusives get expensive fast and stay that way.

Anderson, I want black Sideswipe as much as you do. If they do not make one at the show, (and I am not ruling out Lewis's and Zab's theory that would rule out Sideswipe), send me an extra Sideswipe and I can paint it up for you.

Not to evoke widespread envy/hatred, but I'm going to the con, so I'm covered either way.

Who's the greatest shark around?

http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-new ... aw-169635/

Also, Gnaw.

Sky-Byte looks...exactly as we all pictured him. Perfect. Gnaw is kind of interesting but he'll likely be one of the attendee figures so I'm gonna pass on trying to get him.

Incidentally, I've never seen Sharkticon transformed that way.
