Jesus. Women suck, and it makes me glad I've managed to find one right now who likely wouldn't do that. We've got our issues to iron out, but they aren't too terribly huge.

I'll see it if I have the money.
Well every relationship has issues, just kind of comes with the territory. I genuinely wish you two the best of luck though.
I might see "Rise of Cobra" if it comes on tv and there's nothing else on. I can't foresee actually spending money on it though.

Women are fun. Eheh. <.<
The Joe movie is probably going to be equally mindless entertainment as TF was, but hey.

I am sick of being single. But, being 50K in the hole is a tough sell. I mean, if I could sell that, I would not be 50K in the hole now, because I would be selling F-22s for Lockheed Martin. Damn, that would be sweet.
A buddy of mine is like 15-20K in the hole, and he has a kid. He gets girls. He is like the F-22 of guys.
On top of all this, it was way humid this weekend, and I could not paint anything, so no custom haul for Dom this weekend.
But, I did secure an "Energon" Ultra Magnus. That is something, right? I can use that to distract myself from the crushing loneliness. Then, I can have it fight my RotF Starscream. See, Starscream is an F-22. It all fits together.

I'm not sick of being single but it would be nice to meet someone decent and actually have a relationship last longer than 4 months.
He's got a kid and women go for that. They see the whole "good father" thing that makes them instinctively wet themselves.
You got an EnerMagnus? THAT is impressive.

The thing is that he does not like kids. *I* like kids. Mind you, there is an enormous differene between liking (to have) kids (around), and actually wanting (to take care of) one.
The Energon Magnus is not in hand. But, it is secured. Oh, and the CI packs are arriving at Digital Toys. I secured a set of those as well, largely for customizing.

I've arrived at the point of my life where I can date a girl casually without her trying to move in or either of us going crazy on the other. It's pretty alright! Now I just get to wait for a third life crisis to hit and make me decided to try and own a home or something.
Wait, how is this in the hauls thread?

Ah, y'know how this place works. Things just sorta start as a particular thread, and eventually snowball into all kindsa stuff.

Hah. Aheh. Heh heh. Or, y'know, they think "Ewww...insta-family? No." Of course, I do the same thing, and won't even consider dating a mother anymore. Double-standard for the win!
And for what it's worth, Dom, women do, in fact, like moneys, but it's not always a sticking point. When I met my last long-term girlfriend, I didn't have a job, prospects, or much of anything but scars from "donating" plasma and a somewhat-effective line of bullshit. Apparently. Actually, I have no earthly idea how that wound up happening. But still!
For my own part, I've managed to sucessfully avoid any kinda long-term relationship for the last three years or so. Still, that short-term is okay in my book.

The "no kids" thing has cost me a few prospects.
Even putting aside single mothers, there was a hell of a girl last spring.
We were in that seminar class. We got to talking one day, (almost made me late for work, and totally worth it). Things were going okay until kids came up. She firmly wants to be a mother at some point. (She is not stupid enough to rush into such a thing of course. But, the plan is to be a mother.) When this come up, well, we still talked. And, we were still civil. But the interest was there.
I am pretty sure that you cannot "donate" plasma in Boston. Plenty of places take it for free. But, I have not seen any places giving money for it. (Likely this is a counter-measure to screen out junkies.)
I know that money is not everything. But, it is something, a whole lot of something.
