I love G1!, but I also am getting into Animated, and I liked the movie too.

and let's not forget Beast Wars. Heck, I even got into Beast Machines, once I was able to sit and watch the show in order.

So, uh, really, what you are saying is that you are a fan of TF in general? Well, welcome to the boards.

Yeah, you can say that :D

The only TF I really don't like is RID, and Energon/Cybertron.

Oh, and I'm staying away from the Star Wars TFs too. My dreams about those were crushed when they came out.

I fully agree about SWTF. But, what is your problem with "Cybertron" and RiD?

Decepticon Spike is officially The Man. =p

I notice you don't mention any Japanese TF stuff though, you never get around to it? Just 'cos it's one of my favourite parts of the franchise, if not THE favourite in my eyes (I've always lived in England, but I was mostly raised on Japanese TV, just so y'know). Still hunting for a cheap Victory DVD boxset...

...I can't wait to see what Japan does as a response to Animated! >_>

Animated manga would surely contain a large percentage of win. Hmm.

Eh, I'm more hopeful for an almost disturbingly hyper-realistic and humourless TF Evangelion dealy, like if Masterforce was serious, and had the mecha talk to the guys while they're inside them. Just because it'd be great juxtaposed to Animated, if nothing else.

Not that the Japanese animation industry is really *trying* at the moment, especially in terms of visuals, but hey. It usually pulls a surprise. Still, what happened to those years when there was a darn good run of "JTF"? 86: Scramble City, 87: Headmasters, 88: Masterforce, 89: Victory, 90: Zone, 91: Battlestars, 92: Operation Combination, 93-95: that swish G2 manga, 97-99: Japanese BW, 00: Car Robot... Yeah, seriously, wasn't expecting that list to go on so long.

Have you lost the love for Super Robot Life Form??

RID is great fun. Probably my favourite actual toyline, alongside Cybertron.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.
