You could combine the two: Deadbutter or Milkstop. or Deadmilk and Butterstop.

Deadbutter sounds just... just awful.
All the same I think I'll pass.

You could also recycle obscure TF names (but not characters) or names from other Hasbro licenses.
Your caboose could also be called"
-Windbreaker
-Bullseye
-Hotspot
-Shothole
-Sugar Cookies
(One of those names is not an actual TF name. Can you guess which one?)

Been working on an idea for a Predacon-based team, with an elephant named Stampede as the Commander. Can't quite come up with a decent drone team though. Figuring on a lioness and a hippo so far, anyone got any other suggestions?

You suggested Sugar Cookies to me in the same conversation you suggested Butter Milk. I politely declined both.
I had no idea there was a Transformer named Shothole, and I'm praying to God there was never one named Sugar Cookies.

A rhino, or a giraffe maybe?
I like giraffes.

Rhino's outs, I'm trying to avoid animals that the G1 Predacons already used. A Giraffe's a thought though (I like them as well). On the other hand, I was also trying to keep 'deadly' animals as the theme for the drones (hence the inclusion of the hippo, if you know your Killer Animal Trivia).
EDIT: Maybe a Great White Shark and a Grizzly?

I think a grizzly's cool, and the shark. The shark is cool also for its aquatic abilities. You could put a harpy eagle or something in there too, and have fliers and swimmers on your team.

This is why the song "I want a hippopotomus for Christmas" just cracks me up because um... no you wouldn't want one for Christmas. I'd sooner have a panther or a benal tiger.
If you're going for land based animals how about a gorilla? They're pretty vicious sometimes. So you've got elephant, hippo, lioness, then you could have gorilla and Grizzly bear. Or if you did want a more terrain diverse team, you could go for the shark and a falcon.
My only problem with animal alt modes is that once you start doing robotic versions of animals their distinguishing characteristics start to become moot. I mean, on a robotic bird, what's to differentiate a robot falcon from a robot eagle? Or a robot lioness from a robot panther?

That's the beauty of it! You make a robot lioness in yellow, then repaint it in black a few waves later and it's a robot panther! That chrome-bronze robot grizzly bear? In white it's now a robot polar bear! The possibilities are endless!
(Also, frankly, lionesses have totally different builds than panthers.)
Anyway, I'm thinking about swapping out the lioness for something else, since that kinda swings too close to Razorclaw for my tastes. Can't do eagle in its place though, because Divebomb. Maybe a condor? I think I'm definitely doing hippo, shark, and bear, and I'd like to have *some* air representation. A bat, maybe? Hardly on the same level of 'deadly' as the others, but still.
