The BATs were gone when I showed up, but I'm not into them anyway. Somehow I just don't like my Cobra being able to build armies of robots.

Wow. Wish my job was that good.
Stress-heavy customer service positions really do need to load on the perks to retain permanent staff. I get $100/month off of my utility bill as a staff discount, unlimited free coffee and milk and such, regular fruit bowls, work 10:45-7:15 five days a week and get paid reasonably. I like this job.
Got a snazzy icombi bluetooth stereo headset today. Reasonably priced, and works a charm, solving all my issues with wired headsets attached to my phone. Woo, now I too can walk around talking to myself like a tool.

Picked up Universe Dropshot. Not bad. I like the colors better than I thought I would, now that I've got him out of package. And while the transformation is awfully simple for a Voyager, both modes are good. And I really like the weapons, especially that they flip *into* his hands in robot mode. This guy is *so* joining ClaSlaught's Neo-Combaticons.
An aside on his name: Whassup with the 'Decepticon' tacked onto the beginning? Hasbro went through all that trouble to get their hands on some random name, when, as a new character, this guy could've been named...anything. They must've REALLY liked the name Dropshot...
Is 'DC02077' ANOTHER reference to Monzo?

He's not a new character.

I don't see how.

Indeed, Hasbro said that all the other random tampo's added to the universe figures were created by a simple process:
1. Slam head and hands on keyboard.
2. Add resulting string of numbers and letters to toy.
3. ???
4. PROFIT!

He's not? *Wikis* Well holy shit. Hrm, It would've made more sense had he been colored like any previous Dropshot, though I guess if he'd been done up like the Micromaster his vehicle mode is similar to, he'd look too much like Scattorshot. Still, seems like an awful lot of trouble to go through just to get such an obscure name...

Mmm. I have no idea.
Anyway. I haven't just surpassed 86 in post count, but also in the I Buy Too Much Shit department:
-$5 clearanced Deep Space Starscream. This is actually for him, he wanted a spare, and I happen to be assembling a Mini-Lot right now, so.
-Heavy Load. $20. Woo!
-Pencils and pencil sharpener. For college, like. $3 total.
-Batman Begins on DVD. $9. I love the film, don't own it, and it was by the register.
-The first volume of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. Sigh. Didn't feel like driving to the B&K up the road to see if they had the second of the two Trigun compilations. $10.
-I also saw Pineapple Express. Spiffy film, not on the "SEE IT NOW RIGHT NOW" level of The Dark Knight, but an entertaining two hours.
This brings up a rant--do we ever make movies that're only an hour and a half long anymore? I mean, yeah, those movies could feel kinda short--especially if it were trying to cram in a bunch of stuff like most action movies--but for some movies it's surely enough to just last an hour and a half. Right?
Especially shit like The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 2. BECAUSE THE FUCKING PANTS HAVEN'T TRAVELED ENOUGH YET.

You haven't surpassed me in the Buy Too Much Shit department until you've bought fourteen CDs in a week. Make this your mission.
Today? More shit!
- USB hub. I have too many USB devices for my laptop now, and the grandmother had this, so I requested it.
- Transformers Crossovers Venom. I went hunting for Universe Sunstreaker, found nothing. Hoped to find Oil Slick instead, aaand nothin'. Figured I'd settle for Hulk, since the MTF have just made it out here. Aaand nothin' there either. So Venom it was. Don't maim me, Scourge!

Could be that it's just the fact that I don't sleep nearly enough anymore, but this made me giggle.
I need to get out to Target to check on some o' that fi' dolla Starscream action.

V for Vendetta - turns out I only had 1/3rd of it, read that through and got pissed that I didn't have the rest, so I dropped $20 on the whole shebang.
Tales Designed to Thrizzle #4 - surprisingly, not in the same purchase or store, my 2nd comics purchase in a week! Good stuff, a few real laugh-out-loud bits, not as good as issue #2 though, and $4.50 seems a little steep, but all funny, no ad-money.
