Re: July Hauls
Bleargh, just got back from Topaz. Family reunion was fun, and I lost a laughable amount on the evil of single-deck blackjack, but man, three days without internet is TOUGH!
Not a total loss though, we ended up checking out a Blockbuster in the next town over, where I FINALLY found a copy of Power Stone Collection! And it was a buy 1 get 1 free sale, so I snagged LocoRoco along with it. Joy!
On top of that, a friend of Medanite's that went to Comic-Con this same weekend apparently picked me up one of those delightful Cobra Commanders I'd been ogling. So, not bad actually.

So, went out tonight, picked me up a Slag.
No, not a British girl of questionable moral fiber. Not, y'know, that I'd be above that. But, I just can't refer to the Animated Triceratops as "Snarl". It's not, like, a deliberate thing, but I just can't do it.
Also, Prowl? That Commander you speak of? You lucky SOB.

Re: July Hauls
Made a triumphant return into town just hours ago, where me and some pals went to see The Dark Knight. I was a little apprehensive at first, but then it got into the swing of things and I became genuinely impressed! So, happiness.
So after that we walked over to Borders, where I snagged the second Strawberry Panic novel, and the premier issue of Yen Plus! Swank, been looking forward to this. Any alternative to the detoriorating Shonen Jump (which wasn't the most enjoyable house to live in to begin with) is welcome, and if it's the magazine that's running Soul Eater and Bamboo Blade, well I'm just fine with that.

Re: July Hauls
I got a Clone Wars Gen. Grievous, with the 1st day sticker. Though that matters little, as I tore that sucker open. Not a bad figure, wish it had a little more articulation. But it's better than some of the god-awful ROTS releases.
And I managed to score one of the Black Suited Cobra Commanders off of HTS, right now.
Now to wait for Nemesis Prime to pop up...
EDIT: And there it goes! Please don't crash, please don't crash, please don't crash...
EDIT 2: FUCK YES NEMESIS PRIME CONFIRMED AS PURCHASED!

Do not feel too left out. That CC figure is just an "Indiana Jones" Toht figure with a new head. So, it will not look right with your 25A figures. You could just make one with an old Headman figure and a CC head.
BWP, tell Medanite to get his tuchus over here to post more.

Oil Slick!: He's awesome. Metal-styled bike is metal. I'm seriously considering having him double as one of the Dreadnoks' bikes (if I get that 2-pack with the Trouble Bubble and RAM, the RAM's going to another Dreadnok, and the German Officer bike from the Indiana Jones line could be the third...)
