Screw it. I dropped the book. All the reasoning in the world can't change the fact that I'm just not interested in what IDW and Costa are doing anymore. It's boring. Sorry guys.

What would it take to keep you in? Near as I can tell, this is one of the more different takes on the franchise in years. The status quo has changed hugely since "Infiltration", and even since the first issue of the current run.

In all seriousness, you might want to give it at least another 3 issues or so.

-unsure what you want in a TF comic.

I can't say I have that thrill of anticipation every month that I used to have when picking up a Transformers comic, but I'm still finding some interest and enjoyment in the monthly book. The only TF book I've actually had to drop was the Bumblebee mini-series.

I've been pretty excited about it since the beginning of AHM. Right now it's the only thing that actually motivates me to actually spend the gas money to go to the comic shop every month. There are other titles that I get, but they are not exciting enough that I can't wait until there's a new TF comic to get them as well.

I can't drop the book because I'm technically not carrying it.

In all fairness, I am impressed with how much Costa has stuck (or IDW/Hasbro has allowed Costa to stick) to the new status quo. I keep expecting Hasbro to knock on the door and go, "Yeah, this is great and all, but we'd like something that's a little less...different."

I would not be above assuming that Hasbro meddling might have been a factor on AHM.

I read somewhere that Hasbro mandated a few of the character model changes in AHM. But, Hasbro mandates would not necessarily ruin a book.

I think what I read was that the only changes were concerning blood in the first issue.

Guido commented on the IDW boards that he was asked to draw some characters in AHM in their Universe bodies at the request of Hasbro.

Yeah. But that's a comparatively minor thing, anyway. Especially when you take into account the body-snatching going on in the book now.

"Body-snatching"? I'm not sure what you mean. But the point is, Hasbro it intervene to make some changes to the book.
