I do that sometimes too. Fortunately, the game is forgiving enough not to make a mission impossible to beat with a "wrong" team. I went to grab the IFF with a defensively weak team and had a rough time with the waves of Husks. Vol. 35 for me was Negi battling Fade and Haruna's fish-ship crashlanding back in school. I think I'm gonna have to read the English scanslations of the entire Magic Kigdom arc eventually, as some of the plot points seem to have been lost in translation, but I'll wait till the published manga finsihes its course first.
Doubt I can make myself stop where my books stopped without reading ahead and spoiling things.
