I was actually willing to give Willis that one as well. He was trying to make sense of capricious naming conventions. If he was not such a capricous twit himself...

It had nothing to do with naming conventions. You had one guy, from one series, named LioConvoy (who'd even been sold here by Hasbro under that name) and another guy, from a totally different series, named Leo Prime. It's just...to say that those two are one in the same just because they're the same colors...that's, like, crazy.

I see what you are saying. But, "color=character" became a standard in the early part of the last decade. Willis was just following that precedent with Lio Primvoy.

I figured that the name change was similar to Bluestreak/Silverstreak.
