Deluxe figures are still $11.99 around here. For the moment, anyway.

Today's comics: Justice Society #48 and Transformers Infestation #1. Thought I'd see if I liked the first issue before spending another $4 to get the second. It's not bad, though not much happens in it, truth be told.

Turns out the Diaclone toy's head was different colours than the reissue Black Tracks:

I may be helping film up to three local shows. It might even become a regular gig.

Hey, I love me some shitty games.

I used the Encore colors. (I was unaware of any differences, but used the Encore figures for reference.)

Yeah, I've played some stuff that was dumb as hell and loved it, too. So we'll see. Besides which, if this thing's basically "Generic Over-The-Shoulder-Shooter from Planet X", then I might be okay with it since I usually don't play those sorts of games. We'll see. Anyway, six bucks, so whatevs.

PIcked up Generations Soundwave today. Saw a couple of new "Reveal the Shield" figures at TRU, Classics Bumblebee repainted and the G2 Prime figure. Might get both at some point.

Actually found RTS Prime and Bumblebee. Got both. Got Bee cause I'm a whore for all things Bee. Seriously, if you already own the original Classics bee skip it. This one brings nothing new to the table. G2 Prime is an interesting mold. I've only tranformed it once to robot mode but so far, I'm impressed. The only complaint I have is the peg that holds the front end of the cab together in vehicle mode interferes with should operation in bot mode. I also can't help thinking it would look way nicer in RID Scourge's colors.

Aww, man, work computer ate my post. Sadface.

-Generations Dirge! I figured, why be part of the problem when you can be part of the solution? Also, why does he have plain missile launchers instead of the bombs Ramjet had, or different missiles or something? Good thing I have a Dirge reissue I'm not using for anything. Boy, once I get Scourge, I can totally re-enact Worlds Collide!
-Generations Thrust! Turns out, TRU is even further behind everything than most of the other stores! I can still get WfC Bumblebee after all!
-And speaking of, they had clearanced ROTF Voyagers. Found myself a Recon Ironhide for $12! That's kind of worth it. Better than most of the other new Ironhides that've come out, anyway. I passed on a $10 Bumblebee/Soundwave NEST pack, kind of hope it's still there in a few days. (I believe my reasoning at the time was, "Soundwave is going to have a cooler toy in the new movie. He has to. It's a rule.")
-TDK Movie Masters Two-Face. Just hanging there! After looking for it for a stupidly long amount of time! This toy has zero reason to even be there, considering this is a film that came out in Summer 2008. Also, he needs a gun, since he didn't come with one. Sucky.
-Super Scribblenauts and Geometry Wars Galaxies for the big gay pink DSi. Because we needed games for it!
-Mass Effect 2, because fuck yeah Mass Effect.
-Second Nightmare on Elm Street pack, featuring Nightmare 5 and 6, Wes Craven's New Nightmare, and Freddy vs. Jason. I liked Freddy vs. Jason but my girlfriend hated it, so we obviously have to watch it again soon.

Found Wreck-Gar at Target on Saturday, then found Scourge on Sunday at Toys R Us. Marked down to under eight bucks too! Sweet. Thoughts later, I'm at a friend's house.

I downloaded this and watched it. Really well done adaptation, there.
Spoiler
They cut out the bit where Current Superman goes back in time as Mummy Superman and talks to a dying Pa Kent, though, which was my favourite bit.
