The Spoileriffic Movie Discussion Thread

Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.

Reviews like that almost justify bad movies though.

That review could use some actual thinking on the movie... The point of the Allspark killing Megatron but the shard bringing him back to life for example. The first movie explained that trying to merge the full Allspark with a spark would be too much power to handle and result in the destruction of both. But the Allspark is also what created and gave the Transformers life in the first place. Using what power remained in a shard of the Allspark to bring Megatron back to life makes sense.

Point taken. But that still leaves a lot of points in the review. :)

Not really... I mean, most of the 'points' aren't really points at all. It's mainly over-exaggerated or otherwise lacks connecting the dots of various plot points to create a humorous effect rather than actually review the movie.

It's just an entertaining read. But if you really start breaking it down, it won't really hold up at all. ROTF is one of those movies that should show up on MST3K.

That's debatable. Many people tend to over think or fail to make connections in really any given movie movie when they attempt to break it down.

I meant the review, but I suppose the same could be said for ROTF

Aw, now you're putting ROTF in the same category as "Plan 9 from Outer Space". And that's really unfair to Ed Wood, bro.

Could you imagine if he had done Transformers? That would be hilarious. You're right, comparing the two movies is an insult to Wood.
